What bar was raised? When Ali went on it back then, that was THE bar. But Aaron managed to complete it. Then Jared on a scooter. Dom the freerunner. Fabio on MTB. Now Adams on BMX. Waiting for a rollerblade guy to do it. All of them are injured after this jump.

3 times! He almost got it first try, too! I can’t imagine what was going through his head. The first one was terrifying and the second was even more so hence why he didn’t pedal as much and cased. Thousand other things could have gone wrong but he knew he didn’t want to do that more times than needed lol. Incredible!!!

Those who have never jumped anything on the 20” wheel bike simply have no grasp on what it means when a rider does something like this. Every possible aspect of gravity is against you, terror is inside your head and YOU CAN DIE. The contradictory nature of the harmlessness of the bike is not reflective of what such a feat means.

Yes, I ride mtb and do some jumps, recently got a bmx for fun, it is hard as hell, heavy impact even on small jumps. This one in the video is unreal.

I've jumped drop offs bigger than that on a dirt bike and it's sketcky as hell. I can't even comprehend doing that on a bicycle. He is straight up, bad ass.

I don't think people grasp just how insane and how massive those stairs really are or the speed needed to clear them all. I give credit to any man with the balls to try it nvm ACTUALLY land a sick trick while doing it. Friggin beast man👊 Edit: I do wish however you'd wear a helmet especially after seeing you hit your head on 2nd attempt. Repeated concussions (or worse) aren't good man and will progress into other things(CTE) as they years go on. I know from personal experience.

He didnt hit his head, he landed on his butt. It could still get his spine, wrists or shoulders injured in that kind of landings.

While a helmet won’t prevent concussions or CTE a whole lot (that’s a function of change in momentum, which helmets can barely affect), it will reduce the impulse to the head, which reduces the risk of splitting your skull. So helmets are still a very good idea but not for the reasons listed.
