Videos like this really help me decide on what “boot camp” or “training” I’m going to choose between all the competitors. How do you help us find companies that are still hiring in this economic environment? Thanks so much for making your channel and providing another alternative sales tech training.
There are lots of companies still hiring but you really need to go out of your way to stand out in the process (by executing well, not by trying weird stuff). We also have a rather extensive alumni network at this point and are seeing a lot of students (current and former) help out. Let me know if you have any questions!
Can you email me at eric@higherlevels.com? We currently have a private course+community focused on this that will be going public next month and have multiple now #1 SDRs that have joined. Happy to provide more details pre launch and include you if you're interested. Thanks!
Will companies hire Americans who live overseas (I'm in Europe) for SDR/BDR positions? Are the chances of getting such a position while living overseas low?
Hey Adam, it's difficult if you're not in the North American time zone. There are companies with European offices though and it's not unheard to see Americans working (for example) in the UK offices, though not incredibly common. Have you tested the waters at all?
@@techsales-higherlevels No, not at all. I have a few years of experience in sales, and was thinking about going into Tech Sales. But I want to continue to live in Europe. (I currently live in Poland, and I'd like to stay.) I'd be willing to work during US hours, if needed, but I don't know if that matters. I have residency in Poland and don't have to worry about legal and tax issues working from Poland for US companies, or individuals. So, that's nice. But I don't know if I should bother trying if there's very little change of getting hired due to living in Europe. I could check out some companies with European office. Or, I was thinking about maybe finding a company here who's wanting to reach out to the US market.
