Also bear in mind that to support a child in the ordinary process of growing up and leaving home is not ITSELF a comment on home conditions, parenting, conflict, or anything else. We would have to see the reasons which the school presumably offered. I suspect that it was careful to avoid weighing in on either side of the conflict but instead simply affirmed its commitment to provide education regardless of where the plaintiff happened to live.

I actually think he was wrong. He didnt want to have it for reasons that are of issue with this judge. He has some crazy ideals of how young people should behave. I bet he used to be hardly disciplined by his parents. However, this judge seems to have missed the memo of the latest fashion. His beliefs are far outdated. If he had decided on a legal basis, she should have the right to receive money until emancipated and able to take care of herself and her parents are not allowed to set conditions about her private life no matter if she resides with them, that's unconstitutional.

She can still get a full time job and go to school (albeit at a slower pace) and find a cheap place to live. It won’t be a comfortable life but one she choose for herself with her disrespect to the hand that feeds her. I took up a grueling warehouse job to pay for bills and school and it’s more than enough to cover it plus some excess for wants. Most jobs that aren’t light labor pay 14+ an hour plus any overtime you might want/get. It adds up quite nicely, but you have to get used to the strenuous work though.
