No Barry, I think once they got savile for what he did it became a tsunami and the brave victims of these perverts, now adults, all came forward. Until savile died this all got brushed under the carpet. I never thought Rolf Harris was like this, but always had a bad feeling about savile and never wanted to go anywhere near him. No worse than Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax", which I utterly hate and cringe at, or how about David Bowie's "Velvet Goldmine" which is about gay anal sex, though it's far more subtle than "Relax"? Yeah he really really. Like when you heard about Jimmy Saville it fits, or Gary Glitter.....but this was absolutely jaw dropping it was like hearing Bob Ross doing this..

He IS a warm, pleasant and friendly person. I'd even add 'kind' to that... But he was also a predator. We can have contradictory personality traits and actions. It might mean that he suffered real regret and disgust from his need for sexual gratification with underage girls. It might be that he didn't think he was doing anything wrong, because at the time, they seemed accommodating. Obviously, I'm not justifying, just saying it doesn't mean he didn't have a 'nice' side. My mother talks to this guy who helps her with shopping and gives her things for the grandchildren, but about a decade back, he broke into a blind man's house and robbed him. Does that mean he's not a nice person from my mother's perspective? These are the real contradictions of life. If she knew about what he had done in the past, would it cancel out the kindness he shows? If she knew he'd paid his debt to society, would that have any influence? It's not black-and-white, but a more smeared, complex gray.

I remember as a kid watching his Cartoon Club and Animal Hospital, I still watch his videos and listen to his music, it's a huge part of my childhood and while I hate him for what he's done, I can't help but still enjoy his art. The Harris persecution is a scam by a few lawyers and their quest for money. These lawyers use long-term substance abusers seeking compensation money. She didn't mention it until 2012 when the Harris estate was available for scamming, and after the CPS and the compensation solicitors started trawling for victims with the lure of compensation money. It has been proven, by the police who were seeking evidence, that Harris was not at the location in Leigh Park, Portsmouth, where she alleges this happened. Harris was not there either 3 years before or 3 years after the year that Wendy Wild was 7 years old. The police searched the news archives, they questioned the staff of the hall in Portsmouth, they letter boxed residents of the town and they interviewed people in aged care facilities. The police who did all this work are disgusted that Wendy Wild's accusation still resulted in a conviction. During the Harris trial she claimed Harris assaulted her after a rendition of the hit song, 'Two Little Boys' .. but this song hadn't been produced by Harris when she claims she was assaulted. (The song was written in 1902 to tell the story of two boys who grew up to fight in a war, with one saving other's life). How this case wasn't thrown out very soon in the investigation is beyond belief. Her allegations were laughable.
