DONT THE END ME! AAAAAA. 😂 wow. good job. This audio book is game of thrones level anticipation. Thanks for posting this. I am so glad there are bossfights in this. Thats a compliment just in case there are booky people that dont play video games that think i mean that in a bad way. I REALLY really enjoy the bossfights. Because the original Carmilla novel was writen so long ago it missed that nice feeling of harsh conflict resolution via good old fashioned battling it out and i found myself wanting more of a fight out of Carmilla herself. BUT that exists in this! ACTUAL conflict with an actual cliffhanger that isnt a nod nod wink wink. is there a place where i can talk about my thoughts on this book with spoilers? Besides 'The Diamond Age: Or, A Young Lady's Illustrated Primer', I have not listened to an adiobook that is this good and this well done. That being said i wish i could listen to a lecture or an audience questionaire from this author bc i definatley have questions in terms of how the author feels in terms of this novels place in fiction as a whole, in terms of this novels innovation on fictoion about vampires and monarchies, and specifically about the perception...becuase if anything the naration reminds me so much of how the show runners for Outlander described the thought process of finding an actress for Claire and I see so much of a resemblence of thinking about how perception of the way elements of the environment can be expressed. idk its thought provoking. im going to mull over how i feel about this main character BEING SO MUCH!! 😅 good job o7
