GaMetal takes on the Ratchet & Clank series for the first time with this remix of Courtney Gears from Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal!
I wasn't really familiar with this song until it won a drawing a few months ago, and have fallen in love with it since. It randomly pops up in my head almost every day. I.. suddenly feel like destroying all humans now.

Hoping to get another one to you all before the end of the weekend! I know I need to update JonnyAtma.com with Unknown from ME and this song, I fell a little ill earlier (I'm fine now) so it'll be the first thing I do tomorrow morning. :) Also I wasn't gonna sing in this one but.. I had to, you have no idea how much I love this song, haha. :D

There's hilarious recording of one of the Insomniac devs flatly "singing" the song so that Courtney's voice actress had a reference for it. It's at the end of episode 15 of the Ratchet and Clank 3 Developer Commentary, look it up for a good laugh.

My daughter jumped up when she heard this and started singing along to the entire song from memory, this game is one of her earliest childhood memories. She didn't miss a line, and you didn't miss a beat. I'd say this is as ringing an endorsement as you'll ever get for anything, Jonny.

I didn’t realize how badly i needed this. R&C is my fav video game franchise of all time and this is easily one of my fav songs in gaming. It’s not nevessarily of the highest quality but DAMN does it serve its purpose Edit: the og i mean. Your work is ALWAYS of the highest quality Edit edit: got so excited i forgot to leave my reccomemdations: Silent hill theme: I know it sounds like it wouldnt work but i honest to god think you could pull it off Flirt with bomb: GOROOOOOO MAJIMAAAAAA! Honestly it doesnt have to be Flirt with bomb. All the majima themes are fantastic. Receive and Slash you, Reign, etc. Lady maria of the Astral Clocktower: really any bloodblrne song i’d love to see you do a metal cover of, but this one most of all.

i like to leave a recommendation for hive totem from metroid prime even though that probably wouldn't work well either cause all the other remixes on youtube suck. and gametal makes things glorious! also surprised he's never gotten to heavy metal from henry hatsworth. metal squad from thunder force iv would also be good.

I think the best part about this tune is not the beat, or it's overall quality, but rather it's that whenever the camera is on you, showing your enthusiasm and passion for this, that makes it a really good song. You genuinely looked like ya were enjoying yourself, and that's really quite a good thing to have. Keep up the good work mate, it's great knowing that there's someone so passionate remaking such classic songs like this.

These games were my childhood, I remember when I was given the green light to use my father's PS2 and the Ratchet and Clank games being the first thing I grabbed because I saw the old man play them all the time. We had the 5 games for the PS2 and I cleared them all, one after the other, getting as many collectibles as possible and fully upgrading all the weapons. Ah, the memories. Then playing the PS3 titles was a blast, got to the Insomniac Museum in Crack in Time, got all the Rynos, and got the Platinum Trophy on Nexus just because I could.

This song is so catchy it stuck with me all throughout my childhood and well into adulthood where I'd randomly remember it and remember what an awesome game it came from. Definitely served its purpose thematically as it would be such a good propagandic hit that even "squishys" would be singing along to it lmao. Amazing cover!

Nostalgia depends on the games you played as a Child. If you played R&C more than anything else, so you would feel more nostalgic to this than anything else.
