Hi. Good reaction. No one sings with the passion and intensity that Courtney does.I think this incredible song and performance gets to everyone who hears it. This performance just rips your heart out. The song itself is so raw and powerful and Courtney sings with so much emotion. Then you add the intensity of this incredible video on top of it. If you don't feel the pain and anguish this song and video conveys, then you don't have a pulse. I don't know how many times I've listened and watched this so far, but even when I know what's coming, it doesn't get any easier. What Courtney can do both vocally and visually never ceases to amaze. BTW, I thought the ending with the phone ringing and Courtney answering was brilliant. However, we actually don't know who's on the other end of the line. It's left an open question as to who's on the other end, but it ends a song full of pain and angst with a feeling of hope for everyone that has just gone on this heavy emotional ride with Courtney . 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Courtney is truly amazing. You've only seen two songs of hers, but just from those two songs, you can tell a number of things. First, and most obvious, her vocals are phenomenal. The kind of vocal power, control and versatility she has is unmatched. You've seen her sing this gorgeous, gut wrenching ballad (Call Me Back) and then earlier, the blow the roof off rock anthem (Monsters). So next, you can now get some idea of the incredible range that she has. Whether it's Rock, R&B, Funk, Soul, Ballads or more, she can sing it all, and the most incredible thing is that there is never a drop off in the fabulous quality of her music. Third, as mentioned above, is the passion and intensity with which she sings. No one sings with more heart and soul than Courtney does. Add to that, that she is a powerhouse as a songwriter, and also plays a mean guitar, and you'll understand why so many of us consider Courtney a generational level talent. So this year, since Courtney has gone independent, she has released five sensational originals. There are three you have yet to react to. The first is 'Breakable', a gorgeous gritty ballad. The second is a sensational uptempo, jazzy number with a touch of almost 1940's Swing called 'That Girl Don't Live Here' and an upbeat, can't help but move with it, original Christmas song that Courtney just dropped called 'Christmas Rocks'. All are amazing and would make great reactions. Each is available on Courtney's RU-vid channel.

Glad you got back to Courtney. You should check out some of her earlier covers where she channels Janis Joplin.

Love your reaction! I'm often amazed at how much Courtney's music touches people. I've watched reactors actually break down and cry. Yeah her songs have been pretty short so far. I think Monsters and her new one, Christmas Rocks, especially I could listen to some more. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

This song and video moves most people. And I'm glad that you were also moved by it. Not only could this be about someone ghosting someone, but there could be other meanings behind the message of the song. Someone could have died, someone could be lost in the wilderness, out at sea, and the like, someone could be the victim of a hostage/kidnapping, she could be the ghost, trying to contact the living... and so many other variations of the theme. I like that your only complaint is that there could be more of it, many of us fans feel like that all the time when it comes to her songs, we have them on loop in our minds, because there simply is not enough. She in a phenomenal singer, and you should check out her newest Christmas release, Christmas Rocks. If it doesn't top the charts at this time of the year, than the music industry truly is broken.

Courtney does shorter songs thus far, around the 3 minute mark as I guess metrics say it's a good length? Her voice is extremely powerful, and I feel very unique. I cannot think of ANY voice she reminds me of. The closest in power/range I can think of is Taylor Momsen from the Pretty Reckless. Courtney is so good as making every one of her songs feel "real" with emotion. For me, Courtney is with 4 others as my all-time favorite female vocalists, those other 4 being Taylor, Asami from Lovebites, Maria Brink from In This Moment, and Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil. Enjoyed your reaction to this, and nice that I'm not the only one who thinks Lovebites are great that also enjoys Courtney.

There are several interpretations for this as with most of Courtney's originals. Songs are short because that's the common metric for charted music nowadays. Once her album is completed and she gets onstage, I expect longer versions with Courtney's commanding stage presence. Good reaction!

Also, before I forget, she really gives me Meat Loaf vibes in this video, especially with his BOOHII era, 'Objects in the Rear View Mirror', 'I Will Do Anything For Love'...etc
