Thanks for your reaction, though I'd recommend the Lyric vid she posted (Saturday?). I think she'd do better first introducing songs with Lyric vids like that, maybe with a cover shoot integrated into it, rather than a separate 'Visualizer'.
No you're not late, you're right on time, this just came out Friday. Only a handful of early birds and mostly by request. Definitely a banger YES! Speaking of comparisons, I have heard her compared to Alanis before, and Courtney calls herself a little bit Tina little bit Aretha in the lyrics. I'd say she's been compared to Aretha and Alanis more often than Whitney but not as much as Tina, Joe Cocker and Etta James, and not nearly as much as Mick, James Brown and of course Janis. To me she's the best ever so she can compare herself to whoever she dampleases and it's a complement to them, she wouldn't have time to list all the greats she reminds somebody of anyway😃🙃😅 Great reaction! I forgot to say, speaking of what Courtney's gonna do for a band, I hear she's talking to RU-vid sensation Sina the German drummer, a young lady who has also been a legend since her early teens and they're very fond of each others work and Sina just moved to London and they're planning to meet up somewhere soon if they haven't already but you didn't hear any of that from me.
@@prakaklef as to 'Pretty Little Thing' I think that's all tied up in legal limbo with the demise of SYCO. Pretty sure Sony holds the rights now. They'll probably release it themselves once she's made enough splash on her own money, just so they can reap some benefits despite their utter failure to let her do her thing and show them how it's done. No wonder the music industry is in such dire straits now. They're going to lose everything, the way they're all going.
@@givingin2G4Courtz I think you're right about the label owning it now. I had thought it was the cowriter/producer Max Martin, but Courtney did say it was supposed to be her first single so the label would have been involved at some point. She kinda disowned it in one interview and said Martin wrote it himself, but it seemed she had previously said they changed the language so she could sing it on TV and I got the distinct impression the offensive lyrics in question were hers🤪
