She really is that shy. Before she came out on stage, she was so jittery that she'd made herself sick. They had to send two acts out that had been scheduled to follow her. Thing is, the judges knew this. You can see it in Simon's face when she's centering herself. Then she hits her first note, and when I saw his stunned expression, I was like "right there with you, Simon."

I don't know how many times I've watched it since 2 days. Amazing and Simply PERFECT.

With regards to Courtney being born in the wrong age to sing her kind of music, I refer to an interview she gave with The Guardian newspaper of 21 Sep 2018. Quote: Does she think she was born into the wrong era? “Yes,” she says, before changing her mind. “Maybe I was born in the right time though, cos I could have been born to bring it back.”

'Courtz' is the coolest! She doesn't just sing the song...she performs it. I could watch an all day concert of her.

I have a new favorite rock singer. She is a powerhouse when she sings.

I read among the comments that Courtney was born in the wrong age, and that he disagreed. Hallelujah to that statement, she was put here to give us back the REAL music which she loves and has been striving since she was 5 or 6 y.o. to learn to sing and improves with every performance she does, to bring back something we've been lacking for decades. The music producers keep on peddling the plastic wallpaper which passes for music today. Now there's a chance, we'll get the real McCoy. More power to you Courtney, live long and teach these 'music producers' what they should be selling. Don't let the industry dictate to you - choose what YOU want not what they want. There is some of her earlier songs on RU-vid which are worth watching - 2 or 3 are possibly slightly out of her voice range, but are otherwise very acceptable. As she grew, she could then sing in the lower registers. It'll be interesting to see this young talent maturing - it has been interesting to date. To see the latest youtube has 3 studio produced issues. 1. Sign of the times, 2. Sucker, 3, Someone you loved. Enjoy.
