I thought that she was 12 when she was on TVKUK, and 13/14 when she was on AGT. but yeah, she's phenomenal. You should seriously check out her independent music from last year, and the Cover sessions she made after AGT. Also, check out her Karaoke performance she did on her 18th Birthday from a Tiki Bar in Turkey, she sung Proud Mary. And, before all this, she sang a fantastic cover of Adele's Rolling in the Deep. Hi Bear. Great reaction. So cool that you came across Courtney's music. She is amazing. You would have no way of knowing after just seeing Courtney on AGT, but she can sing virtually any genre exquisitely. Unbelievable vocal power, control and range. You just heard what a killer rock voice she has and when she is on stage, she dominates a stage like no other. However, her vocal versatility is astounding. Courtney is equally as great across so many genres besides rock. R&B, Funk, Soul, Ballads and more. The most incredible thing is, whatever the genre, there is never a drop off to the incredible quality of her music. Virtually all artists, even the biggest, have their comfort zone. Inside that zone, they are great, but take them outside that zone, and not so much. We've yet to see where Courtney's comfort zone ends, and maybe there is no end. To hear one of her ballads is to truly appreciate what a gorgeous voice she has. She is a true generational level talent. Courtney was so great on AGT that she was almost immediately signed to a record deal at Syco/Arista records (Sony Music). After AGT, those that knew her from only there, viewed her as this fabulous stage dominating rocker, which she surely is. But, she is so, so much more. As I mentioned above, her range is astounding. So in 2019, she released an EP called the 'Cover Sessions' where she took some of the biggest recent hits across different genres, and re-invented them into her vision of the way they could, and IMO should, have been sung. They were all sensational. The purpose was to highlight both her incredible vocal versatility and her off the charts creativity. All four of the 'Cover Session' songs are available on her RU-vid channel. They are Old Town Road, Sign of the Times, Sucker and Someone You Loved. Take my word when I say Courtney's versions sound nothing like the originals. She is truly a creative genius. Courtney went through hell to start getting her original music out. First, her label for years trying to turn her into something she didn’t want to be. Another pop princess. Can you imagine that magnificent voice you just heard being limited to just pop, but there’s more. Of course, there was Covid, which delayed her album release for more than two years. Then her label was sold, creating even more chaos. At the beginning of 2023, as soon as she could, she walked away from her label and went independent. Since than, there has been a torrent of brilliant original releases, with much more to come. Details below. In 2023, Courtney released five brilliant originals across multiple genres. First was 'Breakable', a gorgeous, gritty ballad, then 'That Girl Don't Live Here', a jazzy uptempo song with a touch of 1940's swing, followed by 'Call Me Back', that will rip your heart out every time you hear it and 'Monsters', a magnificent rock anthem and lastly, 'Christmas Rocks', which is a fabulous new rocky Christmas tune that will simply demand that you move with it. All are available on Courtney's RU-vid channel and all are must hears. Next on the agenda for Courtney is to complete her long delayed debut album of original music. Courtney has a huge song library that she hasn't been able to release because of the reasons described above, but she has shared many of them, in whole or in part with fans, and they are all sensational. Great reaction! My all-time favorite performance is still River Deep Mountain High in the AGT finals, but that's largely because of that special thing about Courtney in front of a live audience. She's done some amazing things since including 5 great original songs released last year, 4 of them with creative official videos. Hope to see you react to some of them and her upcoming debut album. The struts lead singer in an interview later said that they were asked to do this show the night before and had to fly across country to be there the next day, and also said that in all likelihood would have to show her a few things untill he met her and listened to her and then said yeah I'm going to shut up and go sit down now. Imagine just a whole day to rehearse this and they sounded like this . Pretty great in my book I'd say

Luke Spiller of The Struts was so impressed with Courtney that when he found out she lived near Newcastle (England), knowing The Struts had an upcoming concert at Newcastle University a few months after this, he invited her to join the band onstage to close the concert. The video of that is on RU-vid (look for the longer one), and it's pretty clear that a lot of the crowd (Newcastle knows exactly who she is) had come to see her, not The Struts.
