Another fun video and I loved your glee in sharing her. It was so adorable when you gave her a kiss! I would totally do that with a doll I loved too. I’m glad they make you so happy. I get the same happy feeling when I interact with my dolls. There are so many ways to “play” dolls and dressing them up is one way. I also like to set up little scenes around my house and change them around. That way I can just admire them in different poses. I rotate them so they all get some attention. 🥰

I don't have Courtney (despite being primarily a historical collector, I just kind of bounce off her), but I have several pieces from her collection and really do like them a lot. I just got those sneakers recently and LOVE them. You're so right about the level of detail. I have them on my Kavi at the moment and they work well for basically any doll, definitely get a second pair if you can. Also, I appreciate your trying to find new ways to describe the clothing that doesn't relate to gender. It's such a struggle, sometimes, to find those words. I've been using "traditionally masculine" and "traditionally feminine" as my default these days, but it's still not what I want to land on.
I’ve heard from so many people who have a lot of Courtney’s collection but not the actual doll. I definitely think the actual collection is way more exciting! Hopefully better language develops for clothing styles, but for now, I’m hoping for more gender neutral looks from AG!

Your enthusiasm is so infectious! I never really felt i needed to add Courtney to my collection, but I'm so glad i got Courtney's denim set when it first came out. That jacket is amazing. My next favorite AG jacket is Molly's aviator jacket.
Honestly you’re making me want Courtney, and I’ve never been much of a fan. 🤣 I do like that she looks like Stephanie Tanner, but she also looks so much like Maryellen. I guess not more than Samantha looks like Molly, however.
Hahah yeah good point about Samantha vs Molly! The collection is way cooler than the doll. I just like having her because I don’t really do truly me dolls and stuff like that. It’s been really fun so far!
i love how accurate that courtney’s collection is to the 80s😂(i wasn’t alive in the 80s though lol but i know what kinds of things and styles they had back then). also i think some items in her collection are kinda like stereotypically 80s things (which isn’t a bad thing, im just saying that it’s funny lmao) and i love that honestly 😂😂😂
Those shoes and the shirt are great! I have them for my boy too (along with the shades). The only thing I don't love is that the tie is made out of felt. It makes it look too fake and it feels a little cheapy. Thankfully it's not too hard to replace. I also wanna get another denim jacket to customize too. I might go the handmade route though since that's infinitely cheaper.
I have Courtney and all of her clothes. I am finished buying anything, unless my cost of living and medical bills. My Isabel has an asymmetrical eye. But, one Isabel was returned her due to a very thin wig. And I didn’t want to return a second one. Courtney hair was also thin and I returned her and the second ones hair also was thin.
