I loved Courtney Love’s early style of the 90’s, it was called Kinderwhore with peter pan collar dressed with mary janes shoes, it was such an iconic look. Kat Bjelland from Babes in Toyland was also part of the look as well. They both wore a lot of vintage dresses from the 30’s to the 60’s, it’s what got me into vintage fashion til this day.

Courtney wanted to be like Nancy Spungen. She tried out for the role of Nancy in the 80s movie Sid and Nancy but got a small role. Blink and you'll miss it basically. I like Hole but i have alot more of Nirvana on my playlist.

Fracas perfume is wonderful. I have worn it for more years than I care to admit to. It is also the perfume I get the most compliments on - every time I wear it!

I love Robert Piguet’s Fracus’ perfume, they once sold it at Sephora but I see they no longer sell it. It is quite expensive but it has great staying power and I just love tuberose.

I have always been a fan of Courtney Love's. I had all of Hole's albums and some of her solo albums, as well as huge Hole/Courtney Love posters on my bedroom walls. I think it's crazy how so many Gen Z kids that weren't even alive for most of her career now say that she killed Kurt. That is such bs. Anyways, her style is so iconic and it's hard to choose between the grunge look and glam look. I feel like she's always had a bit of glam to her throughout her career though. She wore tiaras and made it look good. How many women can say that? Now, her style has gone beyond Hollywood glam into a kind of high end, obscure, French damsel kind of look. She combines vintage pieces from design houses (that we can only dream of) with everything and its so unique. Just love her!

I like Courtney Love, I enjoy her music, her book "Dirty Blonde", and I think she has a unique style. Regarding the death of Kurt Cobain, in an interview with Barbara Walters from the 90s, Courtney said that she and Kurt had been struggling with serious substance abuse issues and were both trying to get clean again at the time of his death. She said they'd had an argument not long before his death and it spiraled out of control, and she said something to Kurt about the time that he accidentally dropped their baby, Frances Bean Cobain. Courtney seemed to think that somehow that may have contributed to his decision. She also said he felt overwhelmed by fame because "things had become too big". However, I highly doubt this is why Kurt ended himself. There is also a very controversial documentary from 2015 called, "Soaked in Bleach" which points at Courtney being far more directly involved in Kurt's death, but many people think the documentary is problematic because it lacks solid evidence for the serious claims that it seems to be making about Courtney. I think it might be interesting to cover Kurt Cobain's death on your Dahlias in the Attic channel 🥀
