Judge Juan Merchan, who's overseeing the hush money trial against former President Donald Trump, closed the courtroom for a short while on Monday after admonishing a witness. NewsNation's Caitlyn Becker reports that the witness, Robert Costello, had muttered under his breath.
Earlier in the day, Trump's former lawyer, Michael Cohen, admitted to stealing from his ex-employer.

The unfolding events is quite a serious threat to the American justice system. As an overseas observer and with no personal interest in the outcome I'm watching how across the board multiple principals of justice are being swept aside. This is dangerous territory. What on Earth is happening to America ?

I’m going to be blunt…. You believe the calm witness when it word against word. Costello wasn’t. No one knows what he really did but the jury heard it. Which isn’t good. Calling him was a dumb idea. Almost as bad as calling Trump to the stand.

Costello was a prosecutor for the SD NY, and is a practicing lawyer with no criminal record. Cohen is a liar, criminal and thief.

It's not a he said she said. Costello's business partner was in the room with Costello and Cohen and will back up everything Costello has said .... Unbiased coverage my ass.
