It was totally improvised..... It's kinda normal at SNL. They always rehearse the sketches beforehand to get the lines down, and the timing of everything, but nobody ever performs 100% A lot of them enjoy going a little crazier, or do something a little different during the actual performance to get the unexpected laughs. Usually, it's the normal cast of regulars that plays that game to mess with the other actors, but Donald Glover is just a silly bastard.... Also, I might be totally wrong, and it was an accident when you get nervous on TV, but I highly doubt it.
