So she's on probation and out stealing again within a month? They should double the original jail time when you violate the chance courts give you. So tired of this.

How every shoplifter in this Country doesn't know that there is a camera every 2 feet watching you in Walmart and not shoplift there is beyond me.

Wal mart needs to build their own jail and hire their own police force.

These ppl on these videos just have the darndest luck! Any other day they are 100% perfect citizens, but dam, Just Today they have had to borrow someone else’s things and just happen to run into the law…smh what bad luck!

A person who steals over 1k in junk most definitely deserves to go to jail!! Especially if they are already a felon that has a criminal history! A person who accidentally skip scanned one item with no criminal history……that person doesn’t deserve to go jail! An actual homeless person who steals bread and peanut butter……..they don’t deserve to go to jail! (I’m not saying they are allowed to steal or don’t deserve to be punished……they deserve a court summons). Telling a felon and a clown who just started probation that just tried to steal over 1k in items that they don’t deserve to go to jail is telling them what they did was no big deal!!😡

I got dropped off at Walmart with my cousin, he told me he was paying for everything and when I see cops I just leave him there and take off walking down the street by myself, but I swear I didn’t do anything and I didn’t know!! I always get a ride to the store with someone and then just up and walk out on them to walk wherever by myself! I mean seriously, you don’t do that? You wait for the person you go to the store with and go home together? I swear the shoplifters need to just keep their mouths shut because every single video I’ve watched, when they start vomiting out their excuses and lies it just makes them look seriously ignorant! You go to Walmart with a FAMILY member and as soon as you see police you take off walking leaving your FAMILY member in the store by themselves and then when an officer stops you the first thing you say is “he told me he was paying for the stuff” and expect them to believe you had no idea much less zero participation?!?! If you didn’t know or participate then why did you take off leaving your cousin in the store when you saw an officer? If your cousin told you he was going to pay for the stuff and you didn’t take anything, then how did you know the reason the officer was stopping you as you were walking down the the street alone? If I went to Walmart with a family member and saw an officer, heck even if I saw multiple officers together and I actually didn’t know my family member was stealing and I didn’t steal anything myself I would have assumed the officer was doing some personal shopping or the officers were there for someone else. If I left my family member in the store to walk home by myself for some random reason and an officer approached me and I actually really didn’t know my cousin was stealing and I didn’t steal myself I would have no idea why they were stopping me and would have never said anything until they explained why they stopped me! The first thing I say to a cop when they stop me before they even ask me a question or tell me why they were there would never be “he told me he was paying for the stuff”!!! You 100% told the officer you knew he was stealing and/ir you stole yourself when you A) left you cousin in the store and took off walking, and B) when you told the cop before he even got a chance to say anything that your cousin said he was paying for everything!! Take a que from opossums……when they get scared and think there is a predator around, they play dead, when you commit a crime and an officer approaches you, play dumb!! You have a much better chance of not catching additional charges and getting the charge dropped if you play dumb than when you allow yourself to vomit nonsense thinking that makes you look innocent to the officer, employees, and ultimately the judge! 🙄

I'm beyond happy that I started watching police cam videos. I've gained so much knowledge about laws that I would have never known. I look up the laws for the state I live in because they can vary heavily. I'm definitely not a law scholar now, but I know the basics. A great example. I've had assorted arrests through the years, one for petty larceny and one for grand larceny, nither come from shoplifting. I didn't know if I shoplifted even a small amount it would still be a felony because of my previous larceny arrest. Not that I plan on shoplifting, but it's good knowledge to know.

We have a very similar store here in Australia called Kmart. To be honest stuff is cheap all ready & honestly not even worth stealing from a store like that.

Non violent crimes like shoplifting don't have harsh penalties. They need to have criminal trespass from all stores if it is a chain. Criminals know shoplifting doesn't come with high price tag(pun intended)
