I have always said, you build a good team from the TOP, Shareholders , management, facilities and ground....get that right from the start and the rest will follow.....Thats why we eneded up as we did in the 90s and its taken 30 years to get that back.

Not bothered, as with Gus and Vik last year once the new players clicked they were just a memory...we move upwards, thanks Callum for the 5 years but now an ex player.
George Boateng was a favourite of mine as a player, I forgive him fully for going to Villa (LOL) ! but him going to to villa showed me how erudite his was in interviews on and off the field and my villa supporting wife agrees. I think this is the best signing of the transfer window so far.
At least him and Carr can physically interact with the players, that interaction with DaSilva an example whereas Ady would have just stood around on the sideline having a laugh and a joke with his Chelsea kids. Maybe this is why he was moved on? Who knows?
Probably reading way too much into this, but just seems a little flat. Need to see them playing that mini tennis game. Missing some characters now in the team. 😢
