Jon-Erik Hexum was considered for the role of Dex Dexter in "Dynasty" and I believe he could do it. He had the good voice and diction of a more mature man.

Apparently it had a notoriously bad time slot being opposite 60 minutes which had huge ratings. Shows on the other channels in that slot always struggled and didn't survive. I was just a kid and my folks rarely watched 60 minutes and definitely didn't mind if it was that or my sister's and my fave show on Sunday nights that year: Voyagers! 😁😂 Both my sis and I were so sad when that show ended, and of course when Jon Erik died. 😿 After all these years, it's still hard to believe.

Is this available on an official streaming platform in HQ quality? I would love to see this digitally remastered with the latest film preservation technology. Even the 1984 series Hunter is available in not-too-bad HD quality.
I enjoyed looking at this 1980s tv series it was good I couldnt believe when i heard that the actor had died it was a shock.He would have gone far if he lived.He was gorgeous looking and a very actor.So sad he was gone to soon.
I enjoyed watching this show, action and comedy all in one, it was sad he died and the one brought in to replace couldn't' do it. Still love watching it.

Are you able to re master these videos for this T V series ? Picture quality would be much better . There are several 80's T V shows today that have been remastered . Thank you if you can .
Hi, I'm just a regular citizen. I don't have access to any masters, such as original films which would be in storage somewhere at the studios. Only people who have access to those would be able to remaster the show. It's not possible to increase the quality significantly without starting with a higher quality source first.

Original Star Trek,s "Space Seed" is where first role saw him in, Nabob coffee commercials, "Good to the last drop" & of course "Wrath of Khan". Never saw Fantasy Island growing up, heard good things on & off about it, watched You Tube clip were his character is talking to the devil or some demon. Noticeable because that actor played one the pacifist apes in the "Ape" movies, Cornelius, wasn't it, & Ric played a kind ape supporter, sympathizer who helps them in their dilemma. In third installment of the Ape movies, both actors played in that installment. . Original Ape movies that is.

Watching S.M.D.M., she wanted to watch obscure comedy like CBC'S " Beachcombers. Really young then okay whatever though wanted to watch " Scarecrow & Mrs. King" in '86 she wanted to watch, ugh,..... Adrian Mole, some obscure British comedy. Liked "Super Gran" but geez not that, do you remember a show named "Beans Baxter? LoL. Love my sister though, really. Lol.
Caleb Mandrake This show only aired once ever and was never released to DVD. Unless you've got a source at the TV network, I think a rip from an old VHS taping of the live airing is as good as we're going to get, and we're very lucky to have that.

I was asking for a link to some evidence for your claim that this was the last episode filmed with him, and the episodes were shown out of order and the news was suppressed from the public for many months. In fact, it was a big news story while he still hanging on for several days in the hospital. So I don't see how it could possibly be that this episode was aired much earlier than the others, if this was the one he was working on when he died. So again, what is the evidence for your belief?
A bit strange with this "Timing" 🤔 I'd not really known of this show. Only learned of Jon-Erik Hexum and "Cover-Up" a couple of days ago. Yesterday, I just watched 2 News stories (current now) of 2 black models that were found dead in their LA luxury apartments. And then an actual "Cover Up" full episode pops up "Death in Vogue." Interesting, AI is very powerful stuff! Aside from that, it's great to get to see this show since I was too young to remember. It's quite tragic about Jon-Erik Hexum as I think he would have been the "Star" to go places. 🌟 He remimds me of a Henry Cavill today, not only a beautiful man but a giving man. A life gone much too soon! 😔Only a good guy would be an organ donor. Just to think about his life's gift that helped save others.🎁 What a heart, and I can see why he touched so many lives and is still remembered by so many. Thanks for sharing these "Cover Up"s. I love 80's shows like this and the 🎶 in it! Theme Song always been a favorite of mine, only now when I hear "Holding Out for a Hero"🎵 I'll think of "Cover Up" and remember JEH. 🫶
