The Boy is in shock. He doesn't really know the seriousness of what he did. He threw Jane down the stairs before and she survived, he thinks it's the same thing. Also, I don't think putting anyone other than Elliot Carrington playing Bobby is a good idea.

I don’t like the direction they took with Bobby’s character. This storyline was never my favourite, but how could he be this lost after he killed Lucy.
