I dont use them but Arbitor Cov Ops line is really OP. That drone damage bonus only says drone. Not medium. A trait I wish the whole guristas line should adapt. Also, Arbitor cov ops can and does clear out T10 bases solo and impossible to catch doing it.
I love the Arby Cov Ops for the reason you mentioned of versatility. Right now I have been experimenting with having medium rifled railguns since I am 5/5/3 on both skills, thus it allows me even better flexibility of getting a lot of dps out with carrying and changing between Infiltrators and Valkyries, and getting the thermal and kinetic damage as well. So something should be hitting big.
Just gonna put this out there - I role with a large shield booster on my Belli II CO ;-). It took 5/5/5 in cruiser eng & 5/5/5 in shield OP to get me there xD & I did have to downgrade 2 of the c-type rapids to republic fleets, but the flexibility it adds to my tank is incredible.
Just cause it has instant lock doesn't make it better. The Arb3 has the same amount of drone tubes with a 30% boost instead of 25% the Strat has. Its faster, smaller, and has bonuses to tracking disrupting. The Strat does have an extra high slot but with no bonuses to the high slot the Arb 3 can put out more damage at 1/4 the cost.
Love the video Benzie. Would have loved for you to mention the Stratios in there because I see a lot of people who try to use it as a covert Ops Cruiser however these do the job so much better.
For me the main reason I want the Stratios (cant afford one) is that there is no targeting delay after breaking cloak. Allowing for easier/quicker and precise engagements on selected targets. Seems like the ninja of spaceships.
@@roberthiggins8234 The Arbitrator 3 has the same number of Drones as the Stratios and the Arb has a 30% drone damage boost over the Strats 25%. Don't get me wrong I absolutely LOVE the Stratios, its one of my favorite ships in the Eve universe but the Arb 3 has a better edge in PVP. If you want to sneak up on someone Warp to the location cloaked, look behind the target for a landmark and take note of how far off the beacon they are. You can warp away to the landmark, drop cloak and warp back pretty much right on top of them ready to rock. Is a cool ninja feature for 4.1B ISK over a slightly more powerful Covert Ops cruiser for 900M ISK that just requires a little more fines to achieve the same results worth it?
@@militarymoose87 I believe warping in also gives your opponent a couple extra seconds to see you come in and then warp out. Obviously Stratios is far too expensive right now. I'm expecting it to drop to closer to other faction cruisers.
It will be good if devs will change Blackbird bonuses, cuz i really like how it looks compared to other three. Have no idea why the give bonuses which doesnt works in EE, also as i remember its has target jammer bonus, not stupid guidance disruption which is useful only vs rocket ships (
Since this are gona spike in price cuz the vid, i might as well... The Bellicose line is a beast. With 3 sr rigs i could lower the sr of the Belli CO2 to 136, one point lower than the DD. Frigate level source radius is crazy. Torp/Brawler build goes up to1000+dmg cold, 1300+dmg hot with current skills. If you want to do mission runs without getting bothered, thats the way. Lovely desing too, it looks like a mounted sniper rifle.
I use my torp fit belicose 3 (1220 / 1440 dps) to solo clear normal T10 anoms and then I hop in my kite fit Vexor 2 (860 / 1080 dps) to do T10 special anoms when they spawn. The T10 inqs take a long time but the vexor 2 has no issues at 48km orbit @ 2,700ms. I don't think I will ever fly BS for solo pve. When a red comes into local or scans you I like being able to warp out in 2 to 3 seconds.
If sensor strength is currently useless and only benefits ECM, because the stat is still around will we get ECM in the future? Edit: 25:53 wouldnt've been a cpt video if the phone's capacitor wasnt low 🤣
@@captainbenzie I haven't got a exploration ship yet. I'm still far too scared of Nullsec. My favourite ships are the Can-Yue (thank you for the video on that as well) and the NAGA!! That one is my dream ship. I've put a lot into skills to boost it even higher.
I “Grimace” at your Celestis comment! I too cannot stand the look of the ship, however using the Halloween Grimace skin available on Celestis II or lower gives a whole new perspective! Probably one of the best Grimace skins as you get a giant Fire Eating Pumpkin in space, with full fiery Grin visible on the Celestis!
Hm, i really like both the arbi and the bellicose covert ops, but i prefer the arbi because of the tracking disruptors strength. But i have been moving over to flying the bellicose covert ops because of its speed
I love solo roaming in my Blackbird CO II! Fit 2-3 large rapid missile launchers on it and it can put out huge amounts of damage. Fly around and look for solo Ravens ratting (not uncommon), and you will ruin their day. It can also take out range tanked large turret BS.
Have you tried 4 large test ACs on a Celestis, 20km range with monstrous DPS and makes an excellent miner sniper though you do need PG rigs and decent skills.
This instantly made me want to try this. I believe 5/5/5 cruiser eng is needed, with 5/5/4 and 3x metastasis 3 + 3x power grid 2 I can fit 3 with barely any pg left. First thing that has made me want to get that last point of eng
I love solo roaming in my Blackbird CO II, it is absolutely terrifying! You fit 2-3 large rapid missiles on it and it gets insane damage. It eats Ravens and can still beat BS range tanking.
I keep thinking about upgrading, but I feel like I get a lot of bang for my buck with the tech level 9 variant and the stat differences don't seem good enough to warrant the hull price increase... after flying the T10 destroyers it's nice being in a ship where the insurance cost is under 600 million isk :)
I've always loved the way the Arby looks. Unfortunately, all of my defence skills are in shields. That kind of rules it out for me despite the versatility on high-slot weapons - and I've even got drone skills. The Bellicose line is a better fit for me and I've flown pretty much all the variants whilst keeping the II, not the III, as my main cruiser for the sake reasons you mentioned. Would love a fitting guide refresher! Always keen to hear your ideas. Cheers
@@Hazychan83 Mate, one year in, I'm only just in the home straight of Expert Shield Operation and Expert Shield Hardening right now. Incidentally I had to drop Armour Op 5 to get me here any time soon! It might be possible to pick up basic Amour skills fairly quickly, but as you know, we've all had to prioritise. In any case, I'm intrigued about shield tanking an Arby. After all, we pretty much shield tanked everything before the amour buffs and I don't think resistance curves have changed drastically since then, if at all.
