Hey could anyone help?? Ive just tested today as i was feeling awful last night (chills throwing up) and its got a faint line.. does this still count as positive??
I have been on quarantine for 1 month. I tested positive in RT PCR 3 weeks after exposure. I did rapid test and there's a very light colored line on IGG and IGM. Can you tell me if I'm still infectious or recovered. I really want to end my quarantine I'm having bad anxiety and I think I'm falling to depression. :(

Antibody rapid test(Finger Sampling) is for IgG testing only, which can not be used to detect Current Infection, but it can tell if symptoms person if supposed to carry the virus. Final virus detection should be taken by RT-PCR/Antigen Rapid Test(Swab sampling). view reOpenTest.com for more.
We agree! Our rapid antibody test that tests for IgM or IgG antibodies in response to SARS-CoV-2 cannot be used as the sole basis for diagnosis and we recommend results be followed up by another clinical method test.
CAN ANYONE HELP? i’ve had a positive test about a week ago, and i did a test today to see if i still have it, and it is the faintestttt line possible, does this still count as positive? it is barely visible
Our test detect the antibodies in response to SARS-CoV-2 whereas the swab tests, typically, detect active viral RNA, meaning a person is currently infected. We do not claim 100% sensitivity and specificity on these tests.
What's in the 'diluent' ??? - can you give a list of ingredients & volumes per ml ??? - How much of the 'diluent' should we squeeze unto the sample ??/ .
Jay RillRene it depends. It’s either you have already recovered or your body has already produced the antibody for longer immunity. It might mean that you are on the process of healing. But to make sure, you have to have the swab test.
Thx for video and info! I have a question my hubby had covid in june...he did anyibody igG/igM three separate times over past 2 months required for work. First result igG was 17.2, 2nd result 3 weeks later igG was 13.4, 3rd result 4 weeks later was 3.2...he just did he test again a week ago and igG was now 11.3....why did the result go up after a normal steady decline which was expected? His result that showed the increase amount was about a week and a half after my niece tested postive for and had covid also....any info/incite on this would be greatly appreciated. Thx
IgM is the first type of antibody that your body makes when it's exposed to a pathogen like the COVID-19 virus. Eventually, the IgM antibody will disappear as your body converts the antibodies to other longer-lasting and more specific antibodies like IgG. @pm is correct -- the data suggest that you have been exposed, but do not have active infection. However, all rapid antibody tests (such as this one) should not be used as the sole basis of diagnosis since false negatives and false positives can occur.
It is unlikely that a rapid test specific to COVID-19 will result in a positive test from the flu vaccine. The Flu is not a type of coronavirus and shows little similarities to SARS-CoV-2, so it is unlikely you would be positive from the vaccine.
Hi Xan, we recommend following up our COVID-19 rapid tests with a clinical method test, like rt-PCR. If you have IgM antibodies but no IgG antibodies, it is likely that you are in the early days of infection.
It means that you previously had COVID-19, and your immune system has an appropriate response to the infection above. This assessment is according to the current information available about COVID-19. IgG is the long-term antibody that is active after the virus has been eradicated-while the IgM is the equivalent of a first responder to a threatening situation, colloquially speaking.
Renegade MS is correct, IgG antibody response indicates that you previously had the virus likely 3ish weeks ago. It indicates an immunity to COVID-19, although it has not been proven that those antibodies will last for long term immunity.
We recommend following antibody test results up with your doctor, as we are not licensed medical professionals who can diagnose COVID-19. These tests are qualitative tests, meaning any signal response is positive. IgM indicates an acute infection and IgG indicates later infection, and possible long term immunity. Specimens do not require special process, only need a drop of blood to obtain the test results through eye observation within 15 minutes, suitable for large-scale rapid detection and screening
@@ninjatech7261 Others type of viruses also can be detected by this RTD especially the viruses that can caused symptoms like flu, such as MERS-COV, SARS-COV, Influenza virus & others. Thus, they need nasal swab test for confirmation of the NOVEL-COV gene. If nasal swab tested out negative(usually need to repeat twice negative results to role out Covid19 case) meaning you're not infected by the NOVEL-COV, might be some normal flu. However, they might make an appointment to retest you for nasal swab after 14 days of home quarantine. You're welcome. Stay safe peeps.
If the test line does not have a pink color to it, then it is negative. If it is a faint pink line, then it is positive. All tests should be followed up with a clinical method test.
IgM antibody response indicates an acute, early infection, likely still having the virus or very recently recovered. We recommend following up all tests with a clinical method tests (ie. PCR), especially if you are IgM positive as you could still have the virus.

Our tests have not been reviewed by the FDA EUA and cannot be used as the sole basis to diagnosis or exclude SARS-CoV-2 infection or to inform infection status. Our test only detects for the antibodies in response to the virus. It is likely that if you were negative using our antibody test, you have likely not been exposed but we can't confirm or deny that.

Hi Edgar. Did you have any symptoms? Its possible that the PCR swab test was a false negative and you actually had the virus, or you have antibodies to a similar coronavirus. We haven't tested the cross reactivity of this test with other corona-viruses.
I got same positive results for IgM and IgG??? (+,+)positive positive for both' What is that means???? Do i have covid19???? Please just help...... I dont have any symtoms.... Our tests detect the antibodies in response to SARS-CoV-2 virus. They cannot be used as the sole basis for diagnosis and it is recommended to follow up with a clinical method test. Positive IgM response would indicate an acute infection and positive IgG would indicate a previous exposure.
A faint line on IgM on our test with a slight pink color hue indicates a positive result. IgM antibodies indicate an acute infection meaning you are likely to still have the virus. Please discuss contact your doctor for how to proceed.
We do not claim 100% sensitivity and specificity with our COVID-19 rapid test kits. With lateral flow assays, there is rarely a 100% accuracy. The sensitivity of this assay is 90.4% and specificity is 98.3% (for serum samples).
Means you are positive for active or recent COVID infection or had a tremendous response to the vaccine. Most folks are IgG only positive after vaccine or infection given time.
IgG shows a response to a previous infection. You are likely not experiencing symptoms any more and have recovered. Please follow up all results from rapid test kits with your doctor.
If both are present, along with the control line, it is a positive test for Covid. You might want to have a more precise test to actually confirm it, since this one can give you false positives and false negatives.
@@RoseMargatroid Hi po. I'm curious. I've already done a month of quarantine (was covid positive) and our lgu did rapid antibody testing to see if I already recovered. My IgG was negative while IgM is positive. Does it mean I'm okay and already recovered? They didn't give any specific numbers for both just the result
@@j.a.n.covers94, I might recomend a better test like PCR to check if you are completely recovered. The IgM antibodies are the first line of response, while the IgG are created specifically for the disease and thus can last a bit longer ready for another strike.

@@rvexo Our COVID-19 rapid antibody tests do not have FDA Emergency Use Authorization, therefore they cannot be used to diagnose or exclude COVID-19 infection. If you are being tested using another companies rapid test, you will need to confirm this with them or seek your doctors advice.
Just going to say, this is an extremely unreliable test! It sounds bad but if you want to be tested you must lie about how bad your symptoms (if you live in the netherlands). Here in the netherlands we have an extreme shortage of tests because the government decided to put more money into KLM then into the health service. Most medical personel get told to lie about their symptoms or they're not getting the COVID test, although the dutch government promised that medical personel would get tests when they asked, that is a lie. You still have to lie your way into getting the test. Though it is easier to get an antibody test then a COVID test, you still have to lie about how bad your symptoms have been here in the netherlands.

Maybe your friend is asymptomatic but it doesn't mean indestructible, so stay in quarantine, wear a mask, use alcohol for hands disinfection and wash your hands regularly, and keep the house clean and interaction with other people to the minimum. After 14 days the virus disappear from the body.
Basil Hawkins most probably po kakatapos nyo lang po sa infection. You already have an antibodies and you already have immunity po sa covid-19. Hindi ka na po nakakahawa pero need pa rin po lagi naka mask and hand hygiene. Thank u

I just want to ask because my 1st rapid test result is positive but someone recommend me to quarantine for 4 days then repeat the rapid test. Should I agree to that. Plss answer thank you 🙏
