Sounds like you did whatever you could to protect your family. I had 3 days of symptoms and antigen test was negative. Then day 4 test was positive. I had to take a lot of vitamin D and use my inhaler. The congestion was tenacious but it stayed in the upper airways and clogged out my throat and sinuses. I decided to take low dose aspirin to reduce the risk of thrombosis. I too had rotating joint pains. I had the chills and the night sweats with no fever either Fatigue was absolutely like hitting a wall! My cervical lymph nodes popped up like golf balls! I tested negative after 14 days. I hope you test negative soon. Vitamin D was what REALLY helped me. I took 10,000 IU for the first 24 hours in 2 divided doses. It immediately helped the throat pain and cough. My worst day was day 5-6 when just standing at my bathroom sink caused me to feel faint. When I checked my oxygen saturation it was 92% when normally I’m 98-99%. That’s when I felt I could get very ill. I stayed in rest mode and drank nutritious liquids. Day 7 my sinuses were aching and I had to use warm compress along with more fluids and even Chinese herbs to try and clear the sinuses of congestion. By day 10 I could start to feel I’d turned the corner and slowly started to feel better. I have taken it easy for the most part. I’m thankful I didn’t give it to anyone in my family. My sisters husband infected her and my niece. 🤷🏼♀️
I was told by a friend that's into naturophatic medicine to take 100,000 IU of D3 and high doses of vitamin C because is water soluble and I also took Zinc and magnesium, but I only took 50,000 IU of D3, I thought 100,000 IU was extremely high and I was fine after 3 weeks all symptoms went away, I'm still taking this vitamins but more moderate doses.
hi, thank you for sharing your experience. i got covid. tested negative even after I had symptoms like bodyache, couphing and soar throat. on the third day after the symptoms, the result got positive. I really wonder when this soar throat go away. it is really terrible. it is like a very rough sand paper in my throat. I can't even sleep night due to painful couphing and throat.
A group of us caught it after a potluck brunch at church. I’d consider my symptoms to have been mild other than a couple of days where they seemed more in the moderate range.
@@pc24681 it was the first event like that since Covid. Our Covid rates in our area were way down and the pastor thought it would be ok to do. I social distanced myself but others did not. However, I also worked in the church office with the pastor after the potluck brunch and she tested positive for Covid before anyone else. She did not social distance.
@@Robynne Ok I hope that you are doing well and you are not having post Long covid 🙏🏽 Do you think that your pastor gave Covid to you or someone else that you was in close contact with that day? I have been very blessed not to never get Covid because I don’t be exposed by large groups of people in crowded indoor gatherings!
