COWBOY'S INSTA LASSO IS BACK!! / Identity V Updates 

I hate that they are removing creativity with the up down freedom. I’ve always liked exploring new ways of playing. Though I don’t mind the balloon nerf, cause it’s now quite interesting the priestess combo.

As a cowboy main since ~s6 or close to that, when he still had one tap and they removed it 1 week after I learned it in exchange for his kiting abilities, which I'm supper happy with, this feels like a nerf and the elevation nerf is just a bigger slap to the face. On my personal opinion talking about my own playstyle and how other people also play him on my own matches, if you've played with a Kevin on a voice chat YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. Not even 1 week ago I was able to turn a 5-cipher down into a 3 man escape with first chair at 2 ciphers simply by being a huge support with the help of elevation lassos. One of the biggest thing a huge portion of Kevins (that I've found on my personal matches) is that they ballon rescue and then let the person immediately rebound kite, or even drop survivor last second to tank a hit for them, or make them take the hit instead so you can save again. It's all gone now. Kevin was absolutely fine as he his, one-tap or not, the elevation nerf was absolutely unnecessary, at least in the eyes of a veteran player from s3. Why make him a Murro 2, if he was already so distinct and unique? If you think Kevin was only made to rescue people, you clearly haven't played enough with him. There's a reason he doesn't have a yellow rescuer tag. :(

As a former cowboy main I'm still not sure how to feel about it (just mained him for 2 seasons tho). I wasn't playing him when he could insta lasso and I'm already used to how he is now. It's a 50-50 here it's both a nerf + a buff in my eyes. Let's see it's hard to tell just based of videos, I'd have to try him myself when the adjustment is out to make a final decision.

They are trying so hard to hide the nerf they are giving him with the excuse of It being a "rework" And they did him so dirty with the no elevation of the lasso as well, how the hell will he be able to pull some vital lassos from windows and so on... I'm so sad and mad

Even tho this is kinda a buff and nerf I personally prefer the old cowboy so I might stop playing him and start playing forward

I was excited to hear instant lassos were a thing until I noticed the survivor is still incapacitated. AND the elevation nerfs? I haven't played this game in a while but this really kills my playstyle of sneaky balloon rescues and elevation rescues. :(

Ok, as a old school cowboy main, im so excited for the instalasso to be back. I literally gasped, lol but I'm need to see how much they restrict his up and down lasso, can i still lasso from the 2nd floor in eversleeping, but either way im excited for not needing to full charge with cowboy it was so annoying especially transitioning from og cowboy to current cowboy. Edit- just finished the video. Am sad but does it still work if they in half or healthy survivor state.

I mainly play Hunter and I was dreading his instant lasso as well as giving reducing struggle time I always found him annoying But overall it seems pretty solid kind of a win for survivors and hunters not going to end up too broken but not too weak either

If you pop while cpwboy is carrying a downed survivor will the survivor get the health point?

Now is the "Novelist" of the rescuers, you are supposed to kite for them.

Tbh I expected Coeboy to imediatly drop the downed survivort, him beeing able to walk around with them does seem strong to me? Also...can survs still heal while beeing hold by him?

Could you test after how many lassos does the survivor instantly wiggle out? Maybe that way we can get an estimate of how much struggle% it adds since you can't test it with actual survivors that arent bots yet

someone else has problems with the insta lasso when theyre picking the surv up? i aim to the down body and i even wait the same time kuro waita in the vid but it just doesnt work a lot of timea, even when the hunter is facing to me i cant insta lasso like 70% of times. also i used tl main kev so its kind of weir the new lasso logic

As a cowboy main myself, I don’t think it’s too bad of an adjustment.Yeah this makes him a little weaker for elevation lassos and balloon rescues, but he still can buy a lot of time with this also

If you fully charge the lasso does it still leave the surv at the downed state?

Yuu is it a one tap lasso ? or insta lasso ? liek do I have to hold 0.5 second to insta lasso or just one tap is insta ?

It seems like playing as a cowboy has become easier! I'm happy for the survivors and it seems they've adjusted him for the hunters as well! a win-win situation for both sides!
