Dallas got burned by the Zeke contract and if we're being honest a lot of people (including members of the Cowboys podcasts) believed that as well back when. So do I think that came into play when talking about signing Derek Henry the answer is a HELL YES.
Especially since JJ & SJ still owe Zeke $6 mil. Imo, Henry was never going to happen because of that. Get Zeke back so he can work off some of that money ( as well as the +$3 mil for this year too)! The problem with the run game is the Oline isn't blocking it up. I don't think Henry is going to make much of a difference if they aren't blocking well up front
If Parsons is worth only a 1st and 3rd, he should get 20 Mil. If Parsons is so good that offenses have to double and triple team him, he should be worth two firsts and some. And maybe 35 Mil. Those two things can't be true at the same time.
And he could absolutely get a nice draft hall. The deal is tho how do you go about starting that whole process. You wouldnt think it, but what you would be able to get from a parsons trade depends heavily if the would be suitors knew he was on the trade block or not. Id rather not trade micah, but if i was so inclined, the best way to do it is to NOT to throw any inclination out there. You dont want the other team to know that parsons is up for trade. Ill use the lions as an example. The best thing that could happen is that detroit calls dallas and asks would we be willing to part with micah. And thats when the leveridge in the negotiation goes to jerry, because at that point, depending on if they think he could be a key piece for their superbowl hopes, they absolutely might overpay for a player. What i dont want, is for the world to know im trying to trade parsons, because then everyone knows your trying to offload the player for draft capital. Means the cowboys would have less leveridge
Henry would not get the ball or the yrds in this team- Jerry was smart not signing him- save and plan for the future- we had a shitty qb now- hopefully we get lucky and draft a good replacement in the 2/3 rnds

I agree with you. I am so tired of the way Jones do business that after last game im done watching. Its not because they dont have the talent it is the culture the Jones created.
