The Dallas Cowboys are 2.5-point favorites over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Mike McCarthy is still looking for his first postseason win as the Dallas head coach. Yesterday Jerry Jones said a loss would not cost McCarthy his job and continued to defend his coach saying quote, “I don't need to go into all the pluses or minuses. I've got a lot more to evaluate Mike McCarthy on than this playoff game.” Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe react.

I've been screaming at you Skip for not calling out McCarthy for 2 years. Thank you for finally doing so I think it's too late though. I love the cowboys I have since I was a little kid. It makes me sick to watch their games, however. I'm getting tired of saying, if I bet against the cowboys I would be a millionaire I picked every game this year. You can see the demeanor from the way that Coach responds in his press conference how seriously he takes the games. Every game he thinks they're going to win they lose. I'm sick and tired of Jerry Jones thinking he can COACH this team from his office. As I've said a hundred times he has hired nothing but puppets since Jimmy Johnson. Every coach was retired with the exception of a backup quarterback. Don't even think about getting Sean Payton! If they lose this playoff game which I'm sure they're going to. I will quit following the cowboys 😭😭 when Jerry Jones decides he wants to hire an ambitious coach and let The coach run the team, I might be able to come back. Right now I will just follow my favorite player thank God he's a Texan!😥 😎

Why doesn’t anybody bring up that the cowboys were expected to fall apart when dak went down and the team(coaches included) did a amazing job while missing their “40 million dollar QB” and went undefeated in that time. I now am a Dallas Cowboy fan for 47 years and have endured a lot of glory and a lot of disappointment. I believe that this year is similar to 1991. They are a step away from something very special. I believe that the problem exists in the offensive play calling. Kellen Moore has to step down. The plays that were working when Dak returned have suddenly vanished. Prescott is not a pocket passer. Why he is not running play action anymore with the receivers they have including the best quadron of tight ends. I will never know. Our defense is what is keeping us in the game. The offense has to get back to the mid season game plan or else it will be one and out. Some important players are back for Monday night, so there are no excuses. Fingers crossed 🍀

McCarthy may be part of the problem, but he aint the guy throwing all those interceptions. Dak Romo is. But if the boys get bounced, McCarthy should get bounced too.

Mike McCarthy is a good man of character .He has a superbowl ring . He has Dallas at 12-5 yet he gets no credit for the wins but all the blame when his players lose .He never defends himself when criticized by media, like some coaches do. He is a class act. That's why Jerry Jones likes him. I like him too.i hope Dallas wins superbowl so McCarthy gets some credit he deserves. If Dallas loses it will be players fault .but we know McCarthy will get the blame again.

Bruce Arians is on record saying Kellen's Offense is Vanilla, Tampa had no issues handling it last year. Kellen was given full command of Boise and turned it down, think about that.

Yeah I haven't seen many teams have alot of playoff success when they start getting exposed and play horrible at the end of the season. And I just don't see Dak cleaning up his pics either, if only a quarter of the guys that dropped pics that he threw would have caught them dude would have 25 pics by now and then factor in the 5 missed games he'd have more pics than TD passes. Lots of QBs get benched for way less than Prescott has done this season...

Wake up and smell the coffee folks! Jerry LOVE's McCarthy because the way he operates allows Jerry to take more credit, and give more motivational speeches just like he did in this instance. That's all Jerry really cares about, getting more credit when they win, and having easy scapegoats like McCarthy when they lose...
