@bryana8958 49ers had no one active that year, everyone was on the PUP list, Bosa tore his ACL, 20 players on IR 😂 Kittle, Samuel, Sherman, Bosa, etc. They also weren't allowed to play at home because of California Covid restrictions. It was just a really bad season overall
This defense is having a special season, in a "special ed" sense of the word. *Points Allowed Per Game:* 28.3 (31st of 32) *Net Yards Per Pass Attempt Allowed:* 7.2 (29th) *Yards Per Rush Attempt Allowed:* 4.8 (26th) *Yards Per Play Allowed:* 6.0 (31st) I really wish Dak would stop nearly winning these games after they're already over, all it's doing is keeping McCarthy employed longer, when the sooner he gets canned, the better. Should've fired him after the playoffs and promoted Quinn. The Zimmer hire has been an unmitigated disaster. Micah & D-Law getting healthy will help a bit, but those numbers suggest they won't improve the defense beyond just mediocrity. Firing Kellen Moore, a year removed from the team leading the league in points & yards for the first time since Staubach's days, was also a mistake-the passing game is just Dak & CeeDee playing backyard football, so you never know how it's going to look from one drive to the next. The OL has been atrocious. Last year, they allowed 26 hurries against Dak across all 17 games. Through seven games this year, they've _somehow already allowed 29._ Run blocking's no better, DAL's 3.4 YPA is dead last in the league and the OL is winning just 2.3 yards before contact per attempt. McCarthy had Rodgers in his prime, a receiving corps of Jennings/Driver/Nelson, Clay Matthews & Charles Woodson on D-and he somehow only won a single Super Bowl. GB fans were notorious for complaining about McCarthy, and now I can certainly understand why.
@je7055 here's a fun stat for you over the last 3 year of the 36 wins 10 of them were against team to make the playoff and of those 10 only 4 were against teams outside of the nfc east. Of the 15 losses they had 13 were to teams that made the playoffs.

Brock was playing with out two of his top WR's being out BA & Jennings, then Deebo still wasn't injured & they still put up 30 which should of been more with the flag that took Deebo's TD away. Dallas is ass ass and they were dumb to give Dak 60 Mill a year
Honestly Dak has had it all. Star studded defense, elite o-line, offensive weapons. 9 Pro bowlers last year with home-field advantage (unbeaten at home for the season) and got stomped by the Packers. At what point do you blow it all up?
