Steele came back from injury and by the end of the year he was better than the start. He’ll be back in form this year. Cannot spend a first round draft pick on a right tackle. No way. Guyton played that one season at RT as the QB was left handed-so he was on the blind side! Because it was just 9 games he isn’t ingrained as a RT and he’ll make the switch easy by training camp. Beebe is a beast and with him as Center, our run game will explode! And you know who Beebe was blocking for at K-State? Deuce Vaughn.

Yet each time we've drafted them recently, it's still met with doubt and even disdain We simply haven't missed with our 1st rd drafted Olinemen... I agree with you, they should have kept Tyron Smith. That experience is going to be missed. They could have brought Guyton along behind Tyron. Steele came on at the end of the season, I think he's going to be great this year. Their best chance might be to Tyler Smith to left tackle and Bebe left guard. Man the Jone's will not be still.

Putting a rookie Guard as the starting Center, btw never played the position in college, DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! But for this team it does, especially when the idiot owner is still trying to make decisions on how to build a football team. And you contradicting yourself on bebe power. Why waste all that power on a Center position that he don't have experience in, and not utilized it on a Guard position that he will succeed in better in.
Tyler Guyton is more athletic than Tyler Smith playing the Tackle position.. Tyler Guyton only gave up One sack his whole College Career. He played RT because his QB was Left Handed. He already said he is more Comfortable playing LT. I would rather Have 3 powerful Interior Lineman to keep them 300+ lbs DTs from being in Dak's lap..
What I'm saying Tyler Smith should be moved from LG to LT, place Cooper Bebe at LG to that would be the best formation for this oline. I rather have guyton compete with Steele for the Rt position.
@cowboyschamps8331 the cowboys have shown they can transition players into the right positions. Why would you not trust that they are doing the right thing now?
@HarK4 Everything about this coming season doesn't make sense. Everyone on the coaching staff are on a 1yr contract. Even though I'm personally want the cowboys to move on from dak, they didn't attempt to draft a younger rb to help out with the running game. The front office telling the fans they are all in, but their actions prove otherwise. Guyton and Bebe should not be force to play out of position,especially if they were successful in college playing the position that got them drafted in the first place. I don't have a problem having them transition to those position later on, but not at the risk of messing them up at this early stage of there careers especially when the coaching staff future is uncertain.
I say put Tyler G at LG & put Tyler Smith LT bc I know sometimes you got to toss them in the fire like Steele bc we all remember his first season he struggled then got really good but last season he came back from a bad injury so I believe Steele will be better this season.. but BeeBee has taken reps at Center but like you said he’s never played a game at center
@lakewestchase I agree with you, but....but....not at LT. That position should be filled by a veteran or a lineman who is prepared for it, nort a rookie who haven't played that position. Tyler Smith should be the starting LT and cooper bebe should be the starting LG, not center. And Steelw and Guyton should be competing for the RT position.
I'm hope I wrong about the front office playing these players out of position. But I still would have Guyton and Steele battle for the RT position. And I still prefer Tyler Smith to play LT instead of LG.
