I don't see Megan the same mistake twice with Prescott's contract paying him more than he's actually worth. He's one and done a lot of times in the playoffs when he does make it, so that's not worth $45.50 million a year. I don't care what you do in your regular season. That's what you do in the playoffs. You want to get paid big. You perform big in those times and paying these QBs that kind of money and when you have a team to put around them is getting ridiculous. Not one player should be making 45 50 60 million a year

I have a long term plan. Never give a 2nd contract to WRs and RBs. CeeDee is great, but his next contract is gonna be 32 million plus. Picking up the 5th year option, then let him walk for a 3rd round comp pick. Then draft a WR in the 1st round going into his 5th year. Every four years, rinse and repeat. That would fit snugly into the Stephen Jones philosophy.

True but FACTS is if Lance looks good in camp, Dak going to go into the season with the remaining contract situation and WILL have to get at least to the NFC Championship game to get a extension. If he doesn’t and Lance looks as I mentioned, Dak is GONE. It’s a money thing with the Jones.

Trey Lance to start when? This year? Next year? This year with Dak still on contract I don't think so. Now next year, if he shows any signs of competitive play this preseason, then you can have talks of starting him. But start him this year over Prescott? Nah.
