This an interesting thing to me. Because if they indeed hit on their OL picks and they have immediate impacts, which they have an absurdly positive track record with. You might not need this all-star RB, I think Malik or Rico might be better than we are giving them credit for. And, the OL was kind of average or bad at Run Blocking last year. You take this offseason to focus on these things, the run game might surprise people. Let me be clear I expect nothing. But I do understand even with a stagnant offseason, you have more talent on this team than 2/3 of the league.

I am convinced Davis is a lot better than people think. We should be focusing on run stoppers in the defense and IF another VERY GOOD receiver is available- grab him. No need for more RBs.

Building a team requires 6 foundational positions. Three good run blockers on the interior of the OL and the three interior defensive front 7 positions bring good defenders of the run. Once a team accomplishes this foundational task, it can add the other positions.

Modern-day running backs play limited rolls. Look at KC they don't need a killer RB, just someone competent. Don't waste future picks for a RB. If you make a trade do it for players, keep your picks. There are very few worth 5th to 7th round picks imo. Kahlil Herbert could be worth a 5th or 6th with a player but it's just not quite worth it to me. We have a good defense, good youngish oline, and a pass first offense. Save picks and money and run this season and look to draft a RB next year when you have to either sign everyone back or rebuild anyway.

We don’t need no more RBs. Our core is fine as long as OL holds on. I knew Bland was going to be great after watching him in Year one. Davis will be our RB2. Our FOCUS should be on Run Stoppers in Defense. Not on RBs.

Dowdle will be our 1 or 2. I like Davis but he couldn’t even get on the field last yr. Freeman will most likely be our 3 because of his special teams.

I like Strong, Israel, and Wilson out of this list. I wonder if the Jags would part with Tank Bigsby. I really liked this kid coming out just dont feel he ever got the opportunity last year and kinda seemed to drop down to the 3rd RB towards the end so maybe they soured on him and would move for cheap.

No need for a new back. Use the ones you have. They will be better with a much better run O line. Plus we’ve seen Davis do some good things. Give him a chance. Zeke will wear the D down first.

Pearce would just be another body. We need a stud but my guess is they’ll trying running early, then McCarthy will start throwing the ball all over the place. But to get deep in the Playoff’s, Duk needs a stud at RB. There WERE some good Backs still available in the 5th, 6th & 7th Rounds but they weren’t interested. I would’ve taken Frank Gote, Jr. He’s got the bloodline!! 🩸 With the Jones’s, it’s ALWAYS something. 🙄

I'm sure some are cause they may be cut Panthers, jets, cards, phins have deep RB rooms and drafted RBs this year as well. I think Packers fall in this category too. Might as well get 6 rather than out right cut them. Texans got Mixon for a 7th I believe

For the people saying all we need is an oline and are rb are fine are crazy in my opinion . We are not the old patriots where we can get away with multiple sub par rbs . One reason is we dont have a tom brady lol when we won our sbs we did have emmit right lol An o line is always a need but most teams who have won sbs hsve had a good or great rb .

Get the Oline fixed and any Rb will excell...We had a #1 Rb coming off a major injury & oline with age and disruptions and you expect major production...STOP IT WITH THE UNREALISTIC BS...not many backs make Oline great...but many Great Olines make backs good-great!!!
