I never thought about a cattle hauler being scared of cattle.I give you props for doing your job though. And seeing as how your carrying a hot shot you artta use it...
@user-jp7mo4wv4y It's more like cautious than scared. Many times we are alone when loading so if something happens, no one is there to help so it's better to be safe than sorry. I don't like to over use the hot shot but I do when needed
Seen that happen and going threw a barn and smashing a tractor finders. You need a tablet to write things on not hands you will run out of room on hand lol. Cows being stubborn bulls our very stupid. Some of those pins our not safe with scared cattle plus bulls. You got to do hat you have to do in situations like that.
Watching this video I felt for you and the cattle as the set up of that place makes hard work of sorting and loading and especially in the heat but fair play to you for hanging in there.
I've seen days go in at 5am fri and I get to leave Saturday about 8am the barn would get packed I mean no more room and it would be so hot from them cattel it be a fog of piss and poo so u couldn't hardly breath and the sound of mooo's was so loud u couldn't here sum 1 yelling 3 ft from you .. usaly by the time you got thar driver all the feeders and 1s went back to farms were gone by Sunday .. and you know wat was left and how long they long they may be thar especially certain 1s you kno... so they usaly was more apt to be a littel more wore down then when they arrived
I like that Coe stuck on gate ever time I ever seen a cow or bull jump 1 of them newer well hung Gates it just bend top coupel bars down I seen them have 2 take a skid steer and pick up a bull hi enough to get gate opened under him verry sketchy on the pour sob had to open that gate .
They 1 thing I know for sure driver when they come in on that moring of the sale alot of them are a lot more energetic and crazy ... and I hate them gates that won't stay open I tryed to keep a wire or peace of twine wher I had trouble with that but I only worked on the far side from where u bump wher whee 1st ones come from
They could be wild and or dangerous to keep around on a farm, old, sick, injured, selling off some beef cows or just need some money. Hard to say sometimes
