But if you take in the amount of games , his height he should be clunking most contested ball in a marking contest not one in every 15 - 20 , he goes to ground at a contest all the time , he gets drawn under the ball , he struggles to read play , especially on forward entries and his tap work is a joke , Gawn turns him inside out everytime they play . By the way , I am not a Collingwood supporter infact I don't follow a side , totally unbiased. Collingwood are a gun side , a pleasure to watch, I simply see Cox as a total arrogant mung.

​@@stevepetty3458 Cox arguably beat Gawn or at the very least negated his influence in the first Qualifying Final this year. Also played one of his career best games against Melbourne and Gawn (albeit as a forward) kicking 5 goals on Queen's Birthday in 2018. I think it's a silly metric to judge a player based on how you estimate his potential. The fact of the matter is that he has sustained a successful AFL career over 9 years. Also try playing footy after x2 detached retinas. He gets pushed under the ball half the time or manhandled by multiple opponents (often draws best defenders). His 'arrogance' on the field is part of how he plays, he brings entertainment to the game.
