Lot of great memories. I adopted a little coyote pup just over 44 years ago. As an UG, I thought I could teach this little animal all the BF Skinner conditioned responses. Well, he learned things better than any dog I have had. Very protective and a helluva lot of fun. My vet was always amazed at the behaviors of this strange little dog. She lived well beyond what she would have in the wild and was a fantastic companion. Thanks for the memories, I will always remember my little coyote friend.
They get bigger (she's just a pup in most of this video) but they don't get very large. Only about the size of a regular house dog or maybe a bit smaller. Fully grown they're only like 1/2 or just a bit more the size of a fully grown german sheperd
I believe she was pushed out because the other coyotes were related to her. She was ment to be a migrant female to work her way into another pack but no others close enough. So her parents will do their best to keep her out of their territory. But her improvised "pack" changed that.
@@timmc1269u I'm sorry for your loss bro be strong out their sometimes you can't bring everyone with u at the end but cherish life and don't let nothing break u down. And may God protect your soul
A man that not only befriends and takes in RANDOM ass fur-balls but is obviously a present, important & caring father to his children. Gotta respect it ❤️
This is a beautiful story. The other coyotes would have killed her but she was rescued by Prince Timmy and now lives in a beautiful castle with all the love, food, protection and a huge family. Yeah, Princess Weave! 👸
I love coyotes. When I lived in the woods in Indiana, a female coyote would come to say "hi" to Wifey and I, as Wifey was having her glass of wine on the back deck. She'd come up for a few minutes to have her neck and back scratched by each of us and then she would usually take off back into the woods. One night, after not having come around for a while, this sweet coyote brought her pups to the deck to introduce them. They were adorable. I don't live in the woods anymore and Wifey has passed. Those were some of the best memories of my life.
The f*** man what happened to duck. Please tell me the coyote didn't change her tune. Cuz I noticed that coyote had a reason for everything sometimes I wonder if his human friend catches on. No offense to human dude big props on taking care of animals who need it. That coyote loves the s*** out of you man
I hope you put an orange collar on the pup, hopefully to save her from human predators! There’s another friendly here at the save a fox foundation channel. These small wild creatures can easily become domesticated with some love, caring and most of all, protection as new family members. Like your little friend they can be great little pals.✌️
There's a bounty on those things for a reason. Those so-called human presators ar doing you a service you should be grateful for- unless you think you know more than every state and federal wildlife biologist.
@@lockandloadlikehell Biologist and ecologist here! I'm also a rancher in Wyoming. Predators are NECESSARY for the ecosystem. You do know how an ecosystem works right? Hoverment and Wildlife Fish and Game generate revenue from demonizing predators to be hunted. Especially since the majority of Fish and Games funding comes from the sale of tags, licenses, guns, and ammo, they are insentivised to put out false information to generate profit. That's why TRUE biologist are CONSTANTLY clashing with Fish and Game. Because our studies are for knowledge and evolution, NOT profits! If you don't know by now the hoverment will falsify any type of "scientific" document, lieing to the people for profit, then you are part of the problem, not the solution. I guess wear your mask and get your vaccinations.
The relationship y’all share is so beautiful and rare. I find it even more touching that she showed up 3 days after you and your ex wife broke up… Weave sensed something! Denied by the other coyotes, she found someone to love her unique self
what the heck is that. I'm being invaded by Little Green Men. I will protect the humans. They will look to me as their Guardian hahaha I will be there God now
a vet tried to comfort a boy , whose dog had died - so the boy explained the vet why animals do not live as long as humans do : " The humans need a lot of time to understand what are the important things in life : friendship , loyalty , love . The animals , when they are born , they already know this .This is why they do not live as much time as humans , because they simply do not need to "
@@borchasrpg "Um ACKshUALLY!!" *adjusts glasses* "Animals in the wild eat each other so they can't be as nice as you say they are." *chuckles condescendingly* "Another W for the rationals!" 🤓
I worked with captive coyotes for my graduate degree. I always said, when you go into a pen with a coyote, whether it is friendly or not, you are going to bleed. I once went into an outdoor pen with 3 coyote pups this age, and they literally almost ripped my clothes off. My t shirt was in shreds and exposing me. But they were friendly!!
No different than a malinois puppy...Lol, They call them maligators for a reason, but I'll have to say not so different or a pitty puppy. Dang near any puppy for that matter.
Gah, what a pretty little puppy. Who knew coyotes could be trained as well as dogs maybe even better. This just goes to show you no matter what animal the bond is clearly what counts, she loves this guy
I agree with you 💯% She's so happy. From the 1st day he found her up until this point. The happiness coyote . She senses she's loved where she's at. She knows nothing of being with a coyote pack being she was lost at a young age.
You're so gentle with her, and I think it's why she's drawn to you. And its neat to see the range of vocalization she's capable of. I always figured coyotes only yipped and howled.
❣❣Timmie has certainly given us a PhD course in coyotes, for sure. I'm constantly amazed by the videos I find where people are raising "wild animals" & they all have enormous personalities. If more people would see the potential of every animal, perhaps they would consider them more before they are so destructive to them.
Awwww, baby Weave is the cutest thing ever!! My GSD just crossed the rainbow bridge last week - watching Weave helps me feel a bit less sad. She really is special, and you can tell she loves her daddy :) Thanks for sharing this video, probably one of my favorites :)
@timmc1269u I didn't realize you had her that long! 💜 I'm not at all jealous that you're a Disney princess and I just have a plethora of cats and dogs! I did have a baby squirrel that I bottle fed a while but I released him back outside!
I could watch Weave all day! Her puppy videos are the cutest! I've got a one year old wolf puppy that loves to watch other dogs and wolves on TV. I'm gonna see what she thinks of a coyote. If you don't mind I'd love to post a wolf reaction video of her. I've got a tiny channel but I'm guessing my wolf will love Weave as much as I do. ❤️ 🐾
@Timmy mc thanks for sharing your interactions with Weave and Duck and Johnny. I had a pet jackrabit for a while, raised him from when he wasn't much bigger than orange. When I turned him loose after the hormones kick in he disapeard and never saw him again. but for a time little Jack went everywhere with me. I don't recomend keeping Jackrabbits as pets but he was one of the most interesting animals I took care of. Hope he found a girl and raised many generations of little rabbits. Good memories, Thanks again.
Oh my god, Weave was adorable! I love that she's just as hilarious now as she was then. What a born clown. Thanks for sharing her with us, Tim. She rules.
Thanks for the TBT video of Weave as a pup. She's so beautiful now and was just the cutest puppy! I never saw a tomato-eating coyote before! I love seeing her give Baby Yoda a beat-down!😂❤
I had a Wolfe Sheppard mix at 120 lbs, which dwarfed my black lab. He didn’t realize his strength or endurance, and thank god for that. Strongest “dog” I’ve ever came across.
@@timmc1269uWhere did she come from? Did some hunter find her? Did she have siblings? I don't think anyone breeds Coyotes as pets, so I'm assuming she is a rescue of some short?
Coyotes are a lot more cunning smart and affectionate than we give them credit for. Such a Beautiful animal, loved the part where ya snuck up on Weave howling on the porch 😂
Hi! I have a coyote too. Although she is a little bit Husky, she looks like a small wolf. Mine is named Willow and she enjoys watching Weave's shows very much. I wish I could send you a picture of how awesome she is.🐺 Here's an emoji as a consulation prize!
Why can't you show your Coyote friend? It is illegal or something like that. I am just beginning to learn about Weave and other Canine friends. Do you have to get them as babies in order to be sure they are molded into dog like pets?
You have a gorgeous place and a beautiful puppy! I am glad that "stray dog" finally let you brush her, lol. The first time I encountered Weave was through a YT short in which you were calling her a stray dog and begging to "rescue" her while trying to brush her coat. She gave you that big open mouth possum smile, and I don't know if it was because she liked being brushed or hated it. I knew it was a joke, but I didn't know the backstory yet. She has grown into such a beautiful beast!
Omg, that is too funny because that was the exact same video that I had first seen as well! And like you, had the same initial thoughts. Of course I’ve now done a deep dive since then;)
@@alisha_madariaga lol Yeah. "Come here stray dog...I've always wanted to rescue a stray dog...c'mon let me rescue you!" (Paraphrasing) I still crack up when I think about it.
@@pumibel1720 ;) I think I visibly tensed up when she (at that point I still thought “she was a “he”;)) looked back and bared her teeth and he just kept going! Lol. I was like omg how is she not eating his hand for dinner??🤣🤣
@@alisha_madariaga That is the exact moment that I figured our guy was either really drunk or an actual coyote daddy. It is hard to interpret that wide open coyote mouth when you are friends with it, but if a random one in the wild did that I would gtfo.
I found your about a month so I didn't know how you acquired the coyote and the raccoon so glad to see the early thank you for taking care of these beautiful animals❤🐾🐾🐾
I've been seeing these coyote clips for awhile, but I haven't seen anything on the backstory as yet. How in the world did you end up with a coyote, of all things? You must have gotten her very young. She looks so relaxed and happy around you, not wild, even though she seems to like to play rough. I also think it's cool that she gets to be a goodwill ambassador for her species, teaching humans that coyotes aren't always the "pests" they're reputed to be -- they can be quite sweet, like so many creatures.
He made a video explaining their whole story, he also mentions she is not truly his pet, even tho she has permission to go inside his house and all he hasn’t truly tried to domesticate her, however she’s always stick around, dragging her sleeping bed all over his backyard which is fully open giving her the chance to go out into the wild, however he also mentioned she is scared of other Coyote’s and every time they are around she starts scratching his back door asking for him to let her inside, she considers him her fam/daddy and well that’s a beautiful thing.
I would be so worried now that someone may see her and want to harm her especially not knowing shes domesticated Is she fixed, does she have rabies shots?
