Cruise news today. A cruise ship was called to assist in a search and rescue operation. A British cargo ship sank after colliding with another vessel off the coast of Germany Tuesday morning. The island has enhanced security by installing 33 advanced facial recognition surveillance cameras and three security arches. Princess Cruises has revealed that the Discovery Princess will be based in Sydney for the 2025-26 summer season. Making its debut in October 2025, the ship will join the Crown Princess and Grand Princess in the summer lineup. Cruise line stocks were up for CCL, RCL, and NCLH.

So sad about the cargo crew members lost as sea. Cruise ships do play a vital role in rescues if they are near enough! My 1st time on Cozumel will be next April on a cruise. I am looking forward to it!

Mornin' Doug! On our way to Cozumel on NCL in about a month. It'll be our first time there. Tragic about collision. Waiting to hear what the cause was when it gets determined.

Hi Doug. Pretty sure the Discovery Princess right now is along the west coast and not in New Zealand as I have friends on that ship. The Majestic Princess (which we were on two weeks ago) left LA and was heading to Australia New Zealand. Nevertheless... thank you for making my 10 minutes of coffee before the family gets up peaceful and informative. :-)

I dont mind security cameras. I do mind if somebody is videoing and doesnt ask my permission.irs ok if they are just I asding by but not pushing their camera in my face or lingering. I do not want to be part of their video that they plaster on social media.
