I love all your videos. Its amazing how much work and how far your channel has come technically since this video! I enjoy them all. As an academy member I still love to go through all the youtube videos because I love all the tips and tricks and the banter! Its March 13/21 during Covid. You know what Ginger....That 10 minute PAINTING through my eyes is priceless!!!! What I see when I look at it? I feel like I can sneak my toes in there with those fishes just off the right rock, on a hot day, and touch them. But I feel it would be back in time, maybe when I was younger, and could see the fish so clearly through the crystal clear sparkling water. My little friends that I take my quiet leave to come and visit, without anyone ever knowing. Mmmm.... How special! They are so beautiful! Nana Ginger owns the pond, but she doesn't know I'm here with her fishes. Thank you Nana, I love you! My story for the day😘💞🍁

Love both paintings your ability to do a painting like this in 10 minutes is awesome. Jon's backgrounds are really good, started using my own leftover paint to do backgrounds it's really relaxing and fun. Would miss the live shows although with my schedule I usually miss them til the replay but still enjoy them. Would really miss the Jon and Ginger show. Like the videos on the academy too but they are so much longer I understand why they need a different approach. Keep doing what you'll are doing. In this world of self service checkouts it's great to see the personal interaction.

Watching the recorded show. Since you asked for feedback on the "new format" (live vs not live) my two cents is that live is best. I love to catch shows live but can't always but the audience asks great questions. What I appreciate is that when you guys are traveling, the show continues by prerecorded shows. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the colors and such a beautiful painting as always. I have learned so much in your academy, and your you tube tutorials, no matter what subject matter I want to learn, you have it, and your tutorials are so easy to watch and learn the way you teach. I am so happy I am an academy member, I am so excited about the upcoming ones you showed tonight. I can't help it they are all so wonderful, the only problem is choosing which one to finish as I work on one I see another and end up starting a couple at a time. Thank you for teaching us and answering our questions, you and Jon put so much work into your videos and you always produce perfection. Thank you for doing what you all do, it has definitely made a difference in my art and in my life.ps I like the way you did this just as much as the lives, so I vote this way when you are unable to do regular lives.But either way works whatever is more doable for you all.

This is an actual place in Mexico and you could actual visit these Mayan ruins and climb up on this cliff and that beach is on the other side.

We did this as a special video to post while we were gone. Normally you would just watch a live show and it would stay up, but as Jon and I travel we are filming extra lessons to post when we are gone. It is up forever now. but do put it in your play list.

paint it dark first. then use a tooth brush and spatter lighter tan colors with a bit of red browns. dry between each spatter. (do sand before other stuff.

Wet things are darker in value and more saturated.

I should but we use the same colors almost every time. The only one that was new was Phthalo Green. and I show the palette each show.

I don't get notifications for my subs any more! It may say scheduled digest long after it's up. So I need to check RU-vid and check my inbox to see who is what every day. My email has too much to find you. There is nothing but the Bell for my tablet. I have been having serious issues with RU-vid THOUGH! Yesterday it said on my TV it wasn't available, no connection.
