Its really sweet! I think you would enjoy Susan Wittig Albert books about Beatrix Potter, have you read them? The animals are a delight. Thry act more like real animals but they talk and have tea parties 🥰 and the story about Beatrix Potter and her solvng mysteries is really good snd sweet!
I hope you realize what an incredibly positive influence you are in this world. This video is a virtual hug ❤. Many people start to get the winter blues as the days get darker, and I hope everyone who is starting to feel down, comes straight here for a list of things to lift their spirits. 🍁🍂🍁🍂
The Robin Hobb Farseer series feels very autumnal as it is full of cosy cottages, castle fireplaces and rides on horseback. There’s a fair amount of menace too in run up to Halloween, and of course lots of magic.
Omgosh I LOVE Robin Hobb, I'm up to Ship of Magic and I swear, I'm a crying mess reading every book so far. She's an absolutely phenomenal author. She's working on a new book trilogy that will continue after Fitz and the Fool Trilogy.
Thank you for yet a new amazing video. Thanks to you I feel like a dad who could join my child in activities that were never possible due to cancer. I’ve never been able to have children and it saddens me deeply. Your videos give me time to dream of moments with my daughter (I imagine I would have had one if my life had taken another route). You have no idea how much your videos and stories warms my heart and make me feel deeply happy. Thank you from a 57 old, none native English speaker, but a smiling one nevertheless 😊!
I’m so glad you brought up Alexandre Desplat! - I know his soundtracks from Guillermo Del Toro’s ‘Pinocchio’ (speaking of which, it is one of my all time favourite movies 🥹) - I highly recommend this one for a cozy, whimsical and absolutely heart warming watch (might shed a few tears in this one too ☺️✨)
Sending all the love Mo!! Merlin, Buffy, The Mists of Avalon film and book are what I'd recommend, wait any horror and Sarah Waters too! 🤭 Love the boww! I definitely agree with the reading sentiment, it brings things out of our brain, as do you I definitely think especially in autumn, you give so much b, sending you all the support and love this week xx
My poem I just wrote today for this month, I know some may say it does not rhyme, but here goes! "There you were, The fox we knew was somewhere - because my greyhound told me so! So suddenly - you raced across the road, right in front of us, then disappeared into the hedge, as if you were never there. Such a beautiful big fox, with busy tail - how lucky we were to watch you pass - as Autumn waved her magic wand." Hope you liked it? xxx
@@hestiaharbington6122 Thank you - I also do write rhyming poetry, and am inspired by the wonderful nature that is all around me here in West Devon, England.
I always wait to watch your videos until I have time to snuggle up with a coffee and truly appreciate it. Your videos always put me in a good mood and help remind me to enjoy the little things 😊
Love, love, LOVE this!!! 😍 I have been sooooooo ready for fall and this video was the perfect way to kick off the season. 💛🍁🤎🍂🧡 Spent last week in Lincoln City and was so excited to see the fall colors popping out on the way home through Portland. Hasn’t quite started in Pendleton yet, but it’s getting close! 🥰 It was two years ago in the fall that I discovered your videos and joined your Patreon and I just can’t tell you how much joy and comfort you have brought to my life since then. Thank you for all the light you are putting out into the world!!! We need more sunbeams like you. Fabulous fall blessings to you sweet friend!! 🌞🍁❤️
I feel like I need to run straight away and get myself a cozy cup of tea. You are just adorable! Thank you for the heartwarming suggestions. I also enjoy watching Gilmore girls in the fall.
Dear Morgan, Autumn is already such a magical season and you make it even better!! Thank you so much for the warmth and the joy you’re spreading here ❤🍁🦊 Very much looking forward to exploring all the recommandations that you gave!
@@MorganLong another thank you for recommending The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches, it is such a delight and perfect for this season! Couldn’t be more in love with it ❤️📚☕️
I’ve had a feeling that there might be a new video this week and I am so incredibly happy that there really is one. Seeing the little red dot pop up next to your profile picture makes me super happy every time. 🤩✨🍁 I am really grateful for the magical videos that you keep creating. Happy autumn to everyone in the community! ☺️🌰🍄
I think 2When Harry met Sally" is my favorite movie. I can not watch many other moves again, but this one, I can! I love doing puzzles, and my Mother, who passed many years ago now, always had a puzzle on the go at Christmas time. Thank you for this cozy Vlog Morgan, you really have got me in the mood for things comforting, even though I live alone with My black rescue greyhound Madge, I always like to make my home a cosey, welcoming place. I get the Christmas decorations out at the start of December, as it really cheers me up to be surrounded by pretty glittery things! xxx
I would like to recommend the novel “Something Wicked This Way Comes” by Ray Bradbury, as well as his book of short stories “The October Country.” I was so excited to see this, I hope you have the most wonderful Fall.
My recommendation is the House Witch by Delemhach. I read it last month and it was so cozy. Blazing fires, delicious comforting food, a familiar, and lots of laughs. I just got the second in the trilogy last week.
You're such a warm friend Morgan. Even though we don't have autumn here in the Philippines I can really feel it by just watching your videos so, Thank you! 🧡🍂🍁
Just finished Legends & Lattes a couple days ago and thought it was so cute. Really looking forward to a book called The Cloisters about a woman who goes to work as a curator at The Met in nyc but finds herself at a gothic museum called the cloisters with a group of researchers who find an old tarot deck that may predict the future.
Thanks so much for the fall goodies! I am totally going to watch Paddington. I've never seen it. What a cute idea to get together with friends and have a fall garland making moment. Love it! I love both you and Randi and it does my heart good to know you both a friends!
Cozy children's series is Eva Evergreen Semi-Magival Witch. The first one was so cute and cozy and I'm excited to read the second one this season (I forget how many there are)
I never would have read Irregular Witches if you hadn’t recommended it. I loved it too! When I was a kid visiting my grandparents, in the days before even cable TV, there was not a lot to do on rainy days. Trips to the library were the go to where I checked out nature books about birds and butterflies and flowers. I spent hours pouring over them, devouring the gorgeous pictures and learning as much as I could. Im not a mushroom eater and would never forage to eat them although I have friends who do, but I think they are fascinating and I think I’m going to look for that one for my coffee table.
I love the cozy hanging out with a friend vibe of this video! ☕️💕✨️🍂 I am so ready to cozy up with a book and some rooibos tea now!! Too bad its 70°+ here still.. 😅 but I can use my imagination to picture the rain! Thank you for the cozy comfort of your autumnal videos Mo! 🍁
Your Autumnal Read With Me is my go-to autumn thing. I've watched (or listened to) it for dozens of times - working, reading, just needing a bit of coziness. I originally found your channel three years ago during a time when I was burnt out and on sick leave from work, and your videos and that Read With Me specifically were a huge comfort. 🧡
Morgan, listen, not enough people probably tell you this but I feel like I’ve watched you continue to get more gorgeous over time. That’s surface level and maybe it’s because we continue to know your heart but that’s not all of it. You’ve had a glow up sister and you’re gorgeous 😂😍😍
Thank you so so so much, Katie ❤️ On my birthday last year, I made the intention to embrace my girly-girl heart. Meaning that I would wear the clothes I wanted to wear and play with makeup and style my hair, etc. It's been so freeing and fun-- in a way, I've shed a shy-shell and am shining as I truly am! Thank you for recognizing the light and me and encouraging me to shine! YOU are a gorgeous human being ☀️
You look so happy! I'm SO ready for autumn...I'm sitting here with the windows open and a wonderful cool morning breeze coming in. Aren't crisp mornings just the best? The trees here are just starting to change colors. The afternoons are still warm, but the nights are so nice. Why can't it be like this all year? :) If you've never read The Last Herald Mage trilogy from Mercedes Lackey, I can't recommend it enough. High fantasy, magic, adventure, love...it honestly changed my life.
You had inspired me with one of the books that you suggested the graveyard book since its Harry Potter meets lemony Snicket's that not really a tea drinker that pumpkin spice does sound really good more of the hot drinks that I'm more into is coffee, hot cocoa and hot apple cider that in October that I do watch spook movies mostly horror and Halloween related and blessings to you.
Hi I'm new to your channel, just came across your channel. Love watching seasons movies too. Love fall vibes too. Favorite is summer, spring then fall then winter.
I just love your fairy lights, and autumn, decorations! And I have noticed many times, your odd shaped window, and I absolutely love it! It's so, so, cute!🧡🦋🎃
The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches was a wonderful book! I loved everything about it!! I was cheering for the girls the whole way through! I haven't read the other books, but I'm putting them on my list, especially Magic Lessons because I adore Alice Hoffman! I did read Practical Magic, which I thought was good (but yes, loved the movie more!). Of course, The Graveyard Book is first, because of the Book Club! I love when I see a new vlog from you, especially when it's a change in the seasons. Your Fall decorating makes your home look warm and cozy and very inviting. This is my favorite time of the year! 🍂🍂
Watching this in the middle of a heatwave in summer because I want it to be autumn so bad 😅😅 Loved all your recommendations and that "sch" sound is one of the hardest Dutch pronunciations out there, so that was totally understandable.
For any cozy fantasy book fans that liked Legends and Lattes, I wanted to recommend my favorite read this year: A Rival Most Vial. It’s about two rival potion shop owners in a cozy town. 💜
Cheers Friend! It is true - your videos (especially your autumnal ones) are something I look forward to and I squeal when I see that you've posted a new one ☺🤩
This is the most autumnal video I've seen on your channel so far:) Feels like it. So many autumnal vibes. Thank you! I liked that puzzle with a house. Could you name your favourite RU-vid channels please? I'm curious:)
If I were to make a video of my all time autumn recommendations your videos would definitely be on the top! I am also rereading Alice Hoffman's witch books with my cousin right now. And am also putting together an autumn gift box for her. The Celestial Seasonings tea will definitely be in that box...along with Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies. I hope your days are filled with autumn leaves to chase in the wind!
Dear Morgan, thank you so much for keeping me company during some of my sleepless nights. Your videos, along with my favourite cup of tea, felt like a nice and warm hug. ❤🍁
Sending you very big hugs, friend ❤ I, myself, had a sleepless night last night and also sought comfort in my favorite RU-vidrs. I finally fell asleep at 5am. You are not alone!
I was so happy to see this video pop up, its the perfect end to a long work week 😅 I loved hearing all your recommendations for a cosy autumn. I'm more of a spring/summer girl but I still love all the cosy things lol One of my favourite cosy movies to watch is While You Were Sleeping, with Sandra Bullock in it. It's more of a winter movie but it's just one of those heart-warming love stories ❤
Happy Autumn! I have been really put off reading the practical magic series because of the book (practical magic) which I also really disliked (I think it's the only book I've ever given 1 🌟 to). I love the film just like you. You may have just persuaded me to give this book a go. Book recommendation for you 'The Last of The Moon Girls' by Barbara Davis I've just finished reading it & it is definitely up in my top 3 books read this year. It has a practical magic feel to it (film version) a little mystery, magic & family legacy vibes. Loved it so much!
Ohhhh Mo I missed so much but like this year is my final year with the exams and etc and also I have been through a lot these past few weeks AND I AM SO HAPPY THAT I SAW YOUR VIDEO Really thank you so much❤ but I am sad because I don’t have that much time to enjoy everything else like (autumn, videos etc) but I am glad that I get to see your cozy videos thank u Mo ❤❤❤❤
I shouted for joy when I saw your video come up!! Wahoo!!!! I love Ann’s of the Island, and currently reading Truly, Madly, Sheeply (so autumnal) and hoping to read The Witch of Blackbird Pond. Also hoping to get to Shadowed by Moonlight, which was written by a friend of mine❤.
This video was just what I needed today. Got an annoying cold going 🤧Hopefully it will pass over the weekend. Thank you for all the recommendations, Morgan 🧡 Despite that I'm going on a book buying ban soon - I'm waiting for a book that's coming in stores next week - I've written down the titles of the books that is high on my buying list 😊
I hope you have the time to truly rest and get better! And I'm so glad you've found comfort in my video while you're not feeling well. I treasure my comfort RU-vidrs when I'm unwell!
I would also recommend the Eva Ibbotson witchy ghost novels! They were my favorite as a kid and feature gloomy England, crumbling castles, whimsical ghosts and witches, and such feel good vibes!
There are so many great tea companies, in fact a couple of my favorite are Portland based - Smith Tea, Portland Tea Company (formerly Tea Chai Te), or Oregon based - Mountain Rose Herbs, Oregon Tea Traders. I highly recommend all of these companies. But I have to say some of my favorite autumn and winter based teas come from Adagio Tea Company. They have both an autumnal set of teas and a Spooky Halloween set of teas, as well as fan based tea blends, and I have never been disappointed in a single tea I've purchased from them. I also love Plum Deluxe teas, although I wish they'd ditch their plastic packages.
If you're looking for some classics, I think R. Bradbury embodies autumn. Something Wicked this Way Comes, The Halloween Tree and October Country are all charming nostalgic spooky reads 🎃
Thanks for this video. Sorry, I don't have any recommendations for cozy fall stuff🍂🦉🦊🍄...I get my ideas from you and other like-minded RU-vidrs! Keep up the good work. Fall for all!!
Hello Oh, Wondrous You! Book Recs: Lark Rise to Candleford by Flora Thompson (the mini series is lovely, but the sweetness of the book is unparalleled), The Borrowers by Mary Norton, Brambly Hedge (autumn) by Jill Barklem, Children of the Green Knowe by LM Boston, and An Old Fashioned Girl by LM Alcott. Movie/show recs: The Odd Life of Timothy Green, and Over the Garden Wall. Puzzle Recs: Lantern Press Woodland Mushrooms (1000), ELEWHITE Pastel Dream (1000), or Galison Autumn in The Neighborhood
For a young lady, I was thrilled to hear you recommend Bewitched. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve watched those episodes! Grew up on them. Always thought my mom looked like Samantha. 😊
Thank you for your cozy video❤ I really recommend you to read Ray Bradbury’s Halloween books) and also September by Rosamund Pilcher - a great family saga set in a little Scottish village)
Oh I loved Bookwanders as well. I read it to my daughter last fall and now we getting ready to read the sequel. If you loved Bookwanders you might like "the bookshop of dust and dreams" by Mindy Thompson. It about a magical bookstore that travels through time. We loved it!!
I send you a warm hug . I read some cozy crime series. Joanne Fluke The Hannah Swenson series. It´s based in a little town and Hannah is a baker and owner of a Cookie Café. In the book are Cookie recipies too. There are Movies from this Books also. Hope you are doing well, i always look forward to your videos.❤
I am soo happy yo hear that Pratical Magic is a brutal book and the film is way better ! Because I sincerely agree as well. I specifically remember a passage with the 13 years old girl and her hearing the thoughts of a man and it was not pleasant at all... I read it a few years ago and sincerely did get along with it, and I thought maybe because I was French, I was missing to understand something in it. But before reading the book, I also got Magic Lessons but haven't even tried reading it as I thought that I would it be the same. So hearing you say that the first book is better and the second book is in no way representative of the trilogy is a relief ! Thank you for your recommendations. It certainly helps get into the mood, and it has been a pleasure for the past two years to savour your autumnal videos 🍂🧡🍂
You read my mind! I was looking for cozy books recommendation, I came to youtube to look for one of your old videos but that was even better ❤ Thank you for anotger great video, Morgan!
Hi Morgan! The Carmien tea is from the Cape in South Africa, the best rooibos in the world!! It is the most potent strong rooibos you will get. Rooibos is originally from South Africa and the ones Ive bought in Canada is not as potent, I miss home just for the rooibos and goooood wine! Enjoy Carmien!! Its da best!!
I’m planning to read Magic Lessons, thank you for letting me know to start with that one! I’m also wanting to read Dracula this fall 😊 I love your videos as always, my favorite fall read is Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson!
Magic lessons is the first book in the practical magic series I’d read, and it was also the first book that ever made me cry. It actually made me sob a few times. Maria was heartbroken and mistreated so many times, and at such young ages and I couldn’t handle it. I’ve never truly felt for a character the way I felt for Maria. The rules of magic was also heart wrenching to me, but I didn’t feel much for practical magic or the book of magic. All in all, it’s a series I seriously recommend.
A wonderful video as always ❤ Here's the ultimate fall book recommendation: I just love, love the Flavia de Luce book series by Alan Bradley! It has become a wonderful read to look forward to each autumn! This year I finished the last one that has been published - I guess I'll have to start rereading the whole series from now on if I want that special cozy feeling of those books 😂 Happy Autumn, dearest Morgan! 🍁
I loved reading Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern. It was so magical. But I also love her second book, The Starless Sea. I am reading it right now, but it is so beautiful. My next one will be The Very Secret Society of Irregular Whitches, which was hard to find in Germany, but I wanted to read it so much because of your recommendation.
