I’m with you. I want to move and start fresh so bad. However, the thought of moving right now is so overwhelming. 2023 will be the year and I have a year to prep and plan. #extracozy

Sorry for the late reply to this comment! It got lost in my "held for review section" and I have no idea why. Yes, I really would like to move but it's just not a good time. I feel like I need another year to declutter and downsize more. Thanks for watching!

That Wabisabi book is quite intriguing. Wabisabi is a very nuanced concept and not something easily explained even by Japanese. The author seems to be very knowledgeable about Japanese culture (and pretty well known there), so I’m very much interested in how she interprets Wabisabi. By the way, I sent you a BD card early Feb, so looks like it got lost😩Maybe (hopefully) you’ll receive it someday😮‍💨 but in the meantime Happy belated birthday!

I finally was able to check my PO Box and got your card, thank you so much! It definitely got delayed but then I delayed it further by not checking after my birthday. I featured it in a recent vlog. And the Wabi Sabi book has been really interesting so far. The author spends a good amount of time in the beginning explaining how even Japanese people struggle to clearly define the concept and how nuanced it is. I'm always hesitant to read books about different cultures written by people who aren't from that culture, but she handles it very respectfully and knowledgeably and brings in a lot of Japanese people to add to what she's saying. I'll be talking about the book more when I finish it. Thank you again for the card, it's so lovely and it's still on my fireplace mantle.
