Hi Mel, I definitely enjoy hearing about the books you’ve read in addition to the knitting content. I can definitely understand that by the end of the knitting podcast, if you’ve got a lot of things going on or if your camera is dying etc, adding the book recs at the end might be a tad chaotic. I think including those in manageable mini mid-month updates is great! 🩷
Loved this. Would you ever consider doing ‘a day in my life’ type video? You’re this wonderful combination of productivity and serenity. With regard to the books, can I ask (sorry if you’ve already covered this) what form do you do your reading in? Audio? Physical book? Thanks for the great content 💕
I used to do those but I just don't really have the time to right now! I've been posting little studio reels on my instagram tho if you'd like to take a look! 😊 Also for books - I usually always have a paperback or ebook on hand to read at home/during commutes + I usually listen to audiobooks while I work! Thanks for watching 💕
I’ve tried to read My Brilliant Friend about 4 times, finally gave up 😂. Currently reading novels by Lauren Graff, I love her writing style. Your vest pattern looks great, I always marvel at how much knitting you accomplish!
I totally get how “My Brilliant Friend” isn’t for everyone 😅 but also I love Lauren Groff! I’ve only read “The Vaster Wilds” but really want to read “The Matrix”!
