Hi Jenn, room looks so cozy. Love, Love the fireplace, love German schmear. I used this technique on my living brick wall. When I told my husband what I was going to do to the wall, he said "there goes the paint brush again". But he loved it when it was done. Thanks for another great video. See ya next time. God Bless

I’ve got to admit, when I saw the fireplace in an earlier video, I thought it looked strange in the corner. Just painting it helped a lot! I knew I would like the schmear because I love the way your living room fireplace turned out!

Hi! I agree! It really didn't fit in and I didn't have a lot of other options for moving it so thankfully the paint really made it tie in nicely now with the rest of the room. Now it fits in where before it totally looked out of place. ;)

I love the fireplace. This isn’t meant to be negative, but could you push the dresser closer to the nightstand. I think the fireplace would stand out more. I think crowding the nightstand wouldn’t be as noticeable. Just a thought. I’m sure you know best.
