I'm not even very aware of what RU-vid has turned into, I'm still subscribed to all my favorite vloggers and that's the kind of content I love. Daily mundane tasks, cooking, homesteading, cleaning, organizing, ect. I love your vlogs and I hope you keep making them.

Been watching for over a decade. I don’t comment often (anywhere) but I thought I would say despite how amazing and flexible having your kind of job must be, there is something really sweet and normal about working a regular job that you love and feel an immense amount of purpose because of. Doesn’t have to be more than a barista at a coffee shop that makes people smile. I’m a speech therapist for little kids and meeting the parents and working with the kids brings me a lot of joy. You’re still so young you could totally consider another job and not give up your RU-vid but maybe you would feel less stressed about the direction RU-vid is going and think of it as a profitable hobby or something again. I know it’s a little of work and I literally don’t have any social media so I don’t know much. Just food for thought. Love you! 💛🧘🏼‍♀️😘🍂

I will be honest. As a 10 year plus viewer of yt, I have been disappointed that my favorite creators are posting less and less and the content is not the same. I figured it was because they are focusing on other platforms that pay more. I don’t watch anything but yt, not even tv. I have had to find new creators who post regularly and if you are not posting, I’m not looking for you in my feed and when you do, it’s easily overlooked. Honestly I miss your road trip vlogs and vacation vlogs and seeing you interact in your relationship. It’s sad that you vlog when you are home and I miss the fun stuff. Your videos never fail to make me smile and your energy truly radiates through the screen. I can’t imagine going through the different eras/stages of RU-vid….even in my own life I often think back on different eras/stages and it’s hard not to compare. Have you ever thought of doing a podcast again? I personally LOVED listening to yours and currently it’s my favorite way to consume content. Either way, any content you make I enjoy. I love watching vlogs. Some ideas would be old school haul videos or maybe exploring different restaurants around your town and reviewing? I totally get your frustration with RU-vid, it's constantly changing and it's hard to keep up with the changes & at the same time being true to who you are and what you enjoy posting. For me, your content is like having a friend be with you for the day. I passed through Boise a few weeks ago and had to stop at Trader Joe’s. It is sooo nice! It’s a pretty, comfortable, and organized layout. And there is the BEST kettle corn there. 😍 If you haven’t tried it - it’s Kettle Corn Sweet & Salty Popcorn Trader Joe’s brand, the CUTEST packaging, all vintage and pink, that’s legit why I had to try it, haha. Also, more importantly, I adore your videos. ❤️ I went on a day trip to see my friend in Utah yesterday and it was so nice. My anxiety and depression has been harder lately and I’m stressed with some of my personal life stuff. For the three hours it took to drive to my friend’s place, the only sound that I heard was Maps directing me like every hour, because I wanted time to think and ponder. Then on the way back home from my friend’s, my spirits were going up after being so low, and I saw that you uploaded and so I watched this video. I really love your content. Lindsey, I feel like the majority of youtubers are “more successful” with views because they keep up with what’s trendy, and not necessarily what they want to post. Over the years ive stopped watching most everyone, and stuck with the people (like you and your sister) who post things they genuinely enjoy and want to film. Its truly a breath of fresh air because while you want us to enjoy your content, we also want YOU to enjoy your content. I just feel like for some reason last year you could still make your content exciting even during the pandemic, i had fun watching your routine, hauls, i liked knowing what you were watching, and what hobbies you were getting into… but your content this year has just felt boring, like during the winter you said that during the warmer months you feel happier and more productive, but now that winter is over nothing has changed…idk i don’t want to be harsh but i miss exciting vlogs, even if they are all inside your house. I love anything you upload but I’d love to see recipe ideas, your plant collection, home hacks/ must haves, outfit videos, even these sort of things mixed into vlogs - but again literally anything!

I can’t imagine how discouraging it must feel to start having less engagement than there was previously. I’ve been watching RU-vid since before it was a big thing and before it’s morphed into what it is now. I hate to think of the day when RU-vid isn’t a thing anymore… fingers crossed and prayers that day never comes. In the meantime, keep doing what you’re doing. We love you Lindsey!

I’ve been watching you for so long, rarely comment. I still love watching you but sometimes I’m a few weeks behind because of how busy I am with work. I honestly rarely watch RU-vid anymore so maybe your viewers are like me and just growing so we don’t have time as often to watch. But I really still love your videos and don’t want you to stop!

Came from your newest vlog so I can get caught up better 🫣 I definitely love your video set up but totally understand your concern of want to change/flow with what’s happening to RU-vid. Of course you want to cater to your current subscribers and og fans BUT obviously you want to gain and grow new subscribers as well. I love when you do your sit down video with a main topic in mind! Definitely bring back those make up, hair and skin routine videos. Idk why but I’d really love for you to do a video all about Squirtle ☺️😂 I’d kinda also love a video of you planning out your day of going around your town/state!

I prefer cozy vlogs where we can see what you are eating, grocery hauls etc as opposed to going on vacation bc in all honesty I cannot afford to go anywhere and it just makes me sad to see people do things I can't do but I can still afford food 🤣 so that's why I don't watch the other vlogs. Just being honest. Times are really tough.

Hearing the beginning of your video made me so sad because I’ve been watching you since I was 12 and I’m 22 about to be 23- you were the very first RU-vidr I ever found I MADE AN ACCOUNT so I could subscribe and I have always been a silent viewer, but mark my words I will obsessively comment because I have always always watched just about every video you have ever made. I feel like you raised me 😂 as you spoke more openly about yourself I was becoming more myself and I have always felt in tune and safe with your content. Love you so much 💕
