Just a tip. When you knit your first sleeve, put a locking stitch marker in every decrease. When you do the second sleeve, it’s super easy then to count the rows between stitch markers. Move each stitch marker to the second sleeve as you get to that spot. Now, all your sleeves will be the same without hardly any effort! Beautiful sweater!!!

Hi Sophie and happy belated birthday...and its never to late to go out and eat...hope u had a great family supper. Your sweaters are great and u will be happy in the end after frigging your sweater....u took it well❤ Can't wait to see it when u finish. Take care and were going to be getting warmer weather real soon. Here in Oromocto it's chilly today but it's not going to last and we don't have much snow...I think u guys have more than us actually...anyways walking the trails in the woods is the best...we love it too.

Wow your siliver lining sweater is just beautiful, what great colours! A shame you had to rip it back but it will be worth it in the end! I have also been eyeing up the Mt Pleasant sweater but am not a fan of severe crops, so I am eager to see how your longer version turns out and how you style it! Thanks for sharing x

The sweater looks amazing on you. As a sewer I can tell you did a good job making your zipper bag. All the stitches are in the right place and there were no shortcuts. Love the fabric you have used. Thanks for sharing.

Hello from Central Ontario. Your blue sweater is beautiful on you. I have knit with Estelle yarn before and always turns out amazing and washes well. I finally found my nitch with Jennifer Steingrass sweaters. For the worsted weight ones I go down a size, the fingering weight true sizing. I do 4inch possitive ease, nothing more unless its an outdoor sweater ( skiing). Going to start Avene Feb 9th with my friend of 28 years in UK for her 60th BD. It is DK. Could not get guage, size down, needle size up. Tricky stuff. Enjoyed this podcast, going to go back and see your older ones.

Hi! Thank you so much for sharing your info on Jennifer Steingass sweaters. This is my first one of hers and I'm always scared that my sweaters come out too small so I'm always hesitant on choosing a size lol. But I learn new things on every new project. So I'm definitely going to try again. (I have many of her patterns that I want to make!) I love that you have a planed cast on of the Avena with your friend.❤ That is just so wonderful! You've done a great job on all of your sweaters. I have frogged too many sweaters to mention, mainly because I hate swatching a guage.... me bad! BTW, if you feel hot now, wait till you turn 50. Hahaha. Something to look forward to! Rosie

I love your sweaters. The sweater you are wearing is gorgeous. I will definitely have to make that. I am knitting the Maja Cardigan which is going to be steeked. It is a free pattern and is my very first knit sweater. I’ll let you know how it goes with the steeking. 😬 Happy belated Birthday! 😊

Your magnolia bloom is gorgeous!! I know the stages you went through with your Silver Lining sweater- I have definitely been there! One sweater I left and I just don’t wear it so it’s better to rip it out and end up with something you love and wear! I have a cardigan on my list this year too! Right now I’m thinking I might do Boardwalk by TinCanKnits, but like you, I change my mind often 🤣 I want to try steeking this year but not on something as big as a cardigan so I just found the ESS shawl and am considering it. Thanks for the great episode!

With seeing your Magnolia Bloom and Selma's (Big Little Knits), I think I may have to knit one for me! I decided this year to try knitting a cardigan, since I'd never done that. It took me a while to get going with the pattern, but I think I'm OK now. It's worsted weight, so I hope it won't take me a long time to finish.

Thank you for another lovely podcast and for making me feel better. As you were showing your colourwork sweater i was looking at mine and i have a similar problem. I swatched and got gauge but after completing the yolk i had the opposite problem and it was just too small. I couldn't believe it and am just giving myself a bit of time before frogging it and starting again. I have felt so dejected and disappointed but sometimes it just happens i know. I have started another sweater also a pattern by Jennifer Steingass called Whinfell. When i feel ready i will frog the too small sweater and go up a size.

Oh my goodness I completely understand how you felt when you said you felt dejected. I was too.. and I just needed a little time out... and then just accepted it. But it's a tough pill to swallow lol. But it's OK! I think it's a great thing you started another project. As I did too! Hello ! Pour tes diminutions de manche je te donne mon petit truc : je mets des marqueurs de mailles pour chaque diminution, donc lorsque je tricote l'autre manche je vois combien de rang j'ai fait entre chaque diminution et je récupère les marqueurs de mailles pour la seconde manche :)

Where did you get your sock blockers from? Do they catch on the yarn as you pull the sock on or off? I have a pair that does but you get what you pay for.

I got my blockers from D19EcoFriendlyLife on Etsy. Mine do not snag and they are very sturdy. They are just over a 1/4 inch thick. I definitely recommend. 😊 thanks for watching! 🥰🧶

I'm so glad that someone wrote this! I was worried that this jumper would need to be frogged again if it was made in a size F. I don't think I could reknit a sweater for the third time.
