Conil de la Frontera (Spain) is undoubtedly a select destination for sun and beach tourism. It is one of the villages in the region with the most atmosphere, especially in summer, partly due to the luxurious urbanizations that surround it. Large masses of pine forests, such as those of Roche or El Colorado, often reach the beaches, contributing to the fact that they have been preserved unspoiled.
With its 14 kilometers of beaches, no one can deny that this population of just over twenty thousand inhabitants has always looked towards the sea. If a few decades ago its main economic activities were fishing and agriculture, today it is mainly tourism that provides sustenance for most of life.
Los Bateles Beach is the beach that is located in front of Conil. It is the busiest, especially due to its proximity and easy access. With a young atmosphere, it is the beach where people who rent a house in Conil Pueblo usually go.
