Hello friends! Good to be back with you all, hope you are all having a fine spring day. I find this time of year very busy with garden and home life, I'm working on my very first no- dig garden, and a cottage tour soon. I keep putting those videos off due to finishing a couple I'm editing ahead of them. I asked on the community tab if y'all have ever used rhubarb? It's one of my favorite spring time delights!
Abby Jo your parents garden is gorgeous! That waterfall is dreamy. Thank you for sharing another stunning video with us. Natasha's upside down cake looks delicious. I hope that you are having a wonderful spring my friend!
@@rachelc.7152 Thank you, Rachel 💗 I will tell them that 🌸 Yes, this spring has been very good to me. Spending much time in my backyard garden 🪴 wishing you the best spring (and almost summer) friend 🌷
This was beautiful. Look at that rhubarb! That's what I call flourishing. That waterfall is amazing, it looks natural and how about a moose just coming casually in for a sip. Haha. You all have such a knack for these beautiful videos, I loved the videography , Natasha must keep sharing her gf baking and that sweet little D just melts me. Garden tour sounds perfect. So lovely to sit here with you over a cuppa . Can't wait for more sweeties 😍😍😍😍😍
I love this, thankyou for sharing with us. I live in UK. And I love rhubarb to. But with 14 grandchildren and working as a full time nurse I don't get much time to relax but when I do I watch you on this and sew. Ar yes lovely
This was so beautiful, my darling friend~ oh how I’ve missed your creative and calming videos. I’m starting off exactly where I watched last, so I have a lot of catching up to do, and if this is a taste of what’s to come, then I simply cannot wealth ☺️ much love, 𝓛𝑒𝒶𝒽 ~ 𝓕𝓇𝑒𝓃𝒸𝒽 𝓒𝑜𝓊𝓃𝓉𝓇𝓎 𝓞𝓇𝒸𝒽𝒶𝓇𝒹 💙🤍
I love your videos, because you have what I want to build. But mostly, I listen to them durring my day job and they lower my stress level completely. Thank you for helping me get through my days with very little stress :)
Thankyou for the information 🤩😍..The links have come up. I have also ordered your cookbook .I cant wait to make those yummy recipes .Thankyou Abby Jo.🤩👍
Your parent’s garden is a place where if you aren’t there you may dream about going to Paris or the Pacific Coast or Caribbean but when you are in the garden you can’t think of anywhere on earth you’d rather be. The love in their labor is very evident❤️ I love the music for this vlog and am replaying just to listen while I tidy. As always I am so impressed by Natasha’s many talents! Thanks for a beautiful start to my day. I hope you all have a blessed week😃
🥰 Thank you dear, they have poured themselves into their garden and backyard it’s truly an oasis for the soul ❤️❤️❤️ So glad you enjoyed the video and music!
You have taught your girls well, they are very profficient cooks.I love Rhubarb...in fact I made Rhubarb crisp yesterday.I have tried to grow it but with little success...maybe I just haven't found the right spot in the garden.I will persevere.I have seen your book on Amazon and will be buying a copy shortly.Have a lovely day....love and best wishes from the UK.
Always such a delight when you share your beautiful life with us! 💕🌸 Ha ha..the playful little drips of water off of the rhubarb onto the head. Lovely little silliness ! Thank you for sharing! xx Laura
Ahh, another lovely video from you Abbie Jo. When my dad was still alive I always made a strawberry-rhubarb pie just for him. Of course he would share a slice with me. Long ago memory. Blessings 💜🕊
Love your relaxing videos. Your daughter looks just like you! Enjoyed the tour of your parents house. The garden and flowerbeds are lovely. The waterfall is awesome. 🙂❤
I loved the video and am so happy to see your back and in good spirits. I am also so excited because I got your cook book in the mail today. Its beautiful!!! And I cant wait to try some of the recipes 😋
@@ForgottenWayFarms You did such a beautiful job with it. I also appreciate that your recipes are easy to make with ingredients that anyone can get. I am looking forward to the next one 😉🙂
I watched this video again, and have frozen rhubarb from my garden taking up freezer space. I need to make this today maybe as loaves! I love the use of strawberry Jello if you don’t have strawberries which is my case in your other recipes, so I might do that. I am pining away to get your book one day this year. But it is on my bucket list. Do you offer autographed ones? If so I will save towards that :)
Yes, it does seem too! I will have to do a little tutorial soon 😊 it’s really easy, just fresh ground coffee, boiling water, about four minutes, press and you have a lovely cuppa! ☕️
Hello guys, nice slow pace video, I like videos like that.. that upside down rhubarb cake looked very good , but I never tasted going to have to try it one day .. your daughter looks like a very good bakery chef.. nice helper too... by the way your parents rock stone water pond looked so nice and peaceful .. bless you all..❤️
Oh my goodness, I mixed up your comment Bea 😂❤️🥰 You didn’t have the bolting rhubarb! But thank you for the sweet comments. My daughter is a huge help and a wonderful baker. My parents waterfall is amazing, I wish I had one 😘
Lovely dessert, family & cozy living day💖 I also love your dad’s waterfall fountain! 😍 On another note, I was always told not to cut rhubarb from the plant and only to pull it… Don’t ask me why as I can’t remember… 😆😂…But apparently it’s best for the plant.🤷🏼♀️💜
Thank you 🥰 You know I remember some one telling me that long ago too! But I don’t remember why? My mom and I always cut it low at the root. Maybe that helps? 🌸
@@ForgottenWayFarms maybe 🤔 it happens first thing in the spring when it is still coldish. It’s such a bummer because it stunts further growth even if you catch it early and cut it off. Argh! So I’m buying rhubarb at the local farmers market. Again. Love your videos!
@@brightpurpleviking That’s odd! I’ve never had that happen, I wish I could be of more help. Thank goodness for farmers market!! And I appreciate knowing that you enjoy the videos 🥰
Sorry to interrupt. My rhubarb bolts once the plant gets older. I divided the early bolted one into 7+ root cuttings & replanted. I have 13 plants this year (I'm in NW Wisc zones 3 & 4)
Love your vlogs💞 ..The garden is beautiful and the sound of the delightful waterfall ..is magical. I struggle to get any height out of my rhubarb .here in S E Wyoming.. I have composted and fed it ..Grows about 10in tall ..Love your recipes ..The link is not showing up here ..😥
Thank you so much! That’s odd, I wonder if it’s your climate?? You know I have the hardest time with links and RU-vid they almost always don’t work. Look up forgotten way farms . com under recipes and there is three really good rhubarb recipes! I will try and fix those pesky links, thank you for telling me ❤️
