@@wuzzleb77 so have I! They don’t really do the best job of explaining things in the beginning. But the game is so easy going and forgiving. There are no consequences do you can take your time figuring it out. Also the Graveyard Keeper Wiki is a must!
@@susanschubert1222 they don’t really explain how to do things very well in the beginning. The Wiki is a great resource. It took about an hour or two for me to get the hang of it. It was definitely worth it
I am midway through Spiritfarer, had it downloaded for a while but I lost my Dad in Nov and didn’t pick up my switch for a few months. I can’t believe the character I have just come across is called Daria 😭 my 2 year old daughters name ❤️

I’m sorry for your loss. I bought spiritfarer a few days ago through the sale because I thought it would be a good way for me to be able to learn to cope with death after losing my grandmother earlier this year and it’s been an incredible experience so far. Wishing you the best💓
I gotta say Spiritfarer and Lost in Random are such good games! I did slightly cry because of Spiritfarer but it's still an awesome game. I love the art style of Lost im Random and the story is great too so defo recommend both games :)
Finally...someone mentioned Lost in Random. I really enjoyed this game but nobody ever talks about it. I think the gameplay is pretty short though. I finished it in a week. I loved it though and played it 24/7!!!
If you haven't played it already you have to play Strange Horticulture. I am obsessed. As a insomnia sufferer many a good night has been spent playing this game. It's not a sale game but i think its 12.99 on switch so wont break the bank
Just finished playing it on steam, loved it! It was a good calm game in between the crazy long elden rings and everything else. I didn't know it was on switch too, but I def recommend too, especially if you love plants. I've started getting more games on steam now because of the steam deck, but this one is not great for it; I played it on the PC. I found that was the best experience, so not sure how easy the UI is on switch? Regardless, loved it!
My recommendation (and I think it's still on sale) is Strange Horticulture which was just released for the Switch. I'm pretty sure the regular price is $14.99 USD and last time I checked it was on sale for $11.99. Has a bit of replay value as I think there are multiple endings!
Sweet list. I noticed one of my favorite chillout games of all time is on sale: Dicey Dungeons. It's just $3 (US) right now, which is an absolute steal, especially since it just received a huge free content drop. It's one of those games that looks simple but goes deep, and can be played at your own pace with each run being relatively short. Very few games have a permanently reserved spot on my Switch's memory. This is one of them.

I'm tempted to pick up ninokuni again. I had it on the PS3 back in the day, I never finished it but it's the longest I'd ever spent in a turn based game. It's very fun with a great sense of adventure. I really like graveyard keeper. It's very cozy and the darker themes and sense of humour are great to have alongside the ordinary cuteness of stardew and animal crossing. I finally got to pick up unraveled 2 in these sales, it looks adorable and I'm v excited to get cozy in the evenings and play it with my partner
Please pick up ni no kuni again!! I just started playing it (also my first rpg) for the first time on the switch and I’m already 13 hours in, in 2 days😳, I love the game. I hope you fall back in love with it and if you wish to complete it, you do!
I'm late to the sale aspect but that Lost in Random game looks SO COOL! I just got a Switch last week, and before that I hadn't played anything since my brothers gameboy like 12ish years ago other than The Sims. I love watching your videos for recs plus I love your accent 💖 I thought it was funny when you said us americans may need subtitles for that one. I know some that absolutely would 🤣

You have to review monster harvest! Pretty sure its still on sale and its stardew valley mixed with pokemon! It was pretty buggy at first but most if them have been patched if not all the game breaking ones. Its like 8 bucks

Two games I absolutely adore and would also call cozy are Olli Ollie World (also on sale as far as I know) and World of Final Fantasy Maxima. The second one was on sale one or two weeks ago. Unfortunately it is not anymore but it’s frequently on sale though. Thanks for the great video!
I should probably try Graveyard Keeper again, I love morbid stuff in games, but when I bought it for PC it was UNPLAYABLE. Not in the sense of bugginess, but it was so freaking complicated, that there was no fun involved at all. It seems that all those bad reviews changed something :D :P
I got grow: song of the evertree, turnip boy, and egglia. I have nino kuni for PS3 and switch but got farther in the switch version. I have the 2nd one too. I'm only missing arise, yoku, moving out, and lost in random. Thanks for the heads up about lost in random being bad in handheld mode. What exactly makes it bad, tiny text?

I loved playing Hoa, it's super chill and so cute and it is on sale still right now. :) Good luck on your surgery and recovery! Unravel is fun. Supposed to be for two players but you can get one player to hop on the other's back and only use one controller.
Thank you so so much for this video, literally made my day! Spiritfarer is the first game that really got me into gaming as a young-adult (I played ds when I was little), but my pc heats so much when I play it, even tho it's new :( I wasn't able to buy it at full price, but now I've purchased it for 7€ (8,5 pounds or so). It was, also, the first game ever that made me cry... didn't know games were capable of that! Played it last year for christmas, and it opened a whole new chapter for me... Thanks again!
Lost in random is such a good game, I’m getting my switch oled tomorrow. You know how people tend to get animal crossing or zelda first? not for me my first game is definitely is gonna be Lost in random😩.
Ni no kuni is amazing, I havent completely finished and didnt touch it in ages because I dont want to finish it and postpone haha. Spiritfarer is in my top 3. Dragon caffi sounds cute!!!! I will see if I can pick that up. GK I played for a day or 2, loved it but I tend to buy games and then shortly play them!

Cozy Grove I got annoyed with because it kept stuttering when the little ghosts would spawn back in after they disappear. Very annoying. Also Spiritfarer is on Gamepass if you have it.
I have nino Kuni games, spirit farer cozy grove & the dlc lost in random is amazing to play I enjoyed yokus island express graveyard keeper its the best add digimon survive its a fun one to read the story and do a bit of battling in parts of the story plus kitaria fables I find cozy cause I get to battle craft as well as farm in the game
I was looking at Kitaria Fables, but I saw some reviews that said the main character never levels up. Would you mind telling me more about what you like in the game.
@@amytheshihtzumom I like that u get to choose ur cat breed and accessorie it with hats and wings minus the stuff you craft plus u get to take your time on quests In the game and plan out you day accordingly on what quests are easier to get done faster than others the farming is fun and the characters are cute
I must be a cozy gamer because I own all of these except two already ahah I didn’t enjoy Arise very much though the DLC for cozy grove is worth the money
Either that or when they stopped being on offer wasn’t the same date across the all of the eshop? Some of them like Ni No Kuni are on offer often but never for very long
Unfortunately I did not like cozy grove. I thought I would. I guess it’s the mood I’m in. When I wanna relax I don’t really think of gaming so maybe that’s why I don’t enjoy them that much. I feel like I wasted money but it was on sale. I just don’t know how to not feel irritated about it.

I was so quick to jump On Nino Kuni when it went on sale. I mean in AUD it’s down from $90 to $14! Looking forward to it. Have had Lost in Random a long time but not played it yet, you’ve refreshed my hype though! Graveyard Keeper is a classic, along with Cozy Grove. I still haven’t bought Spiritfarer as I’m unsure about it and even the reduced price is relatively high. The others I hadn’t heard of. Honestly at this point I’m just dying for Potion Permit to come out 🥲
