Lovely video! Your words brought tears to my eyes . You decorate beautifully and I've been enjoying your home tours. We always have a large family Thanksgiving. Always been a thing with my husband's side of the family and I love it. We were married on Thanksgiving eve 50 years ago. Left for 1 night and came home in time for Thanksgiving dinner with his family. This year is our 50th anniversary. I believe Thanksgiving eve will be celebrated with our only daughter and grandchildren and great grandchildren. Then Thanksgiving day as usual with the extended family. I'm looking forward to it.

That rug is PERFECT for your dining room! I love the tablescape, the soft music and your plans sound wonderful! I host Thanksgiving for my family so I usually prep anything that can be done day/night before so I don't have SO much on the actual day and can still have energy to enjoy it with my guests. I also will make myself a warm cup of cider or tea and watch a good movie the night before and try to get a good night's sleep for the big day ahead. Thank you for sharing your lovely room and your plans and I pray you have a BLESSED Thanksgiving!

Your table looks beautiful! I also love your new rug. It really warms up the space and makes it more cozy. I'm going to a fellow choir members house on Thanksgiving eve for light refreshments and warm holiday punch made with cranberry juice, pineapple juice, with brown sugar, lemons, and cloves in the basket. She makes it every year in an old percolator and it's so good. The choir always looks forward to it.
