CPKC 2816 Empress Steam Train Chase - Houston, TX [5 25 2024] 

This is my chase video of the CPKC 2816 Empress train running through the Houston area along the Union Pacific Houston Subdivision as it was headed towards Mexico City. The chase starts at the east side of Dayton near the uphill climb out of the Trinity River. The next catch is at the Liberty Road crossing on the far east end of Union Pacific's Englewood Yard. The next catch is at the Brays Bayou bridge in southwest Houston. The final catch was where the Union Pacific turns into the CPKC Rosenberg Subdivision just south of Rosenberg, at McHattie Siding. I intended to catch it passing Imperial Sugar in Sugar Land, but due to it's speed and many delays earlier, it passed before I could get set up. It was also darker than I had anticipated.
