Each contest has an “exchange” to make the contact official. Each contest the exchange can be different. One of the reasons for an exchange is to have radio operators practice giving information in a structured format to simulate doing so in an emergency. Great question 73
5 9 signal strength, 05 dx zone KC2JRQ is his amateur radio call sign. I hope you are not playing games asking obvious questions. He also gave details at the beginning of the video next time pay attention. As to you KC2JRQ if you are going to participate in contests some things are not needed THIS IS , PLEASE COPY slows you and the other station . 5 9 , 5 should be enough 73's.
@@ll-bc7ou I understand and appreciate the feedback. "This is" for me is to allow a spilt second if others are still transmitting, I find it reduces the amount of repeats. I agree with you 100% on the "59, 5" is much more efficient. Thanks for the feedback, 73s
@@hamradioonthego I was just giving my opinion sometimes I might come across the wrong way you obviously got my message as intended enjoy watching your videos in NYC 73's....
Hello Joe! On the Friday before the test, we had a great 10m condition. I have made more than 60 contacts with America and the Caribbean with my personal callsign - UA4LCH. Unfortunately, propagation during the in the test was completely different ... We made 7700 contacts with two transmitters, but only 260 contacts with USA ... (( I would like to hear one day a same propagation as in those years when I received the call sign - 1980. )) Or like in 2000 year. ) I hope what we have now is not the peak and will be better 28 mhz. 73 - Alex - club's call is UA4M
Hello Alex! 28 mhz propagation has been excellent the last two months. I have some videos of the QSOs and they are in editing so I hope you will enjoy them. I will listen for your personal call sign as well as your club call sign. Thanks for watching and commenting. 73
