I've been subbed to them since 2008, omg that was so long ago it feels like. My first ever recipe I saw from them was the Okonomiyaki. I have a Japanese market close by, so I was able to find the ingredients, and boy was it delicious! This channel taught me so much about Japan and its many different recipes. God Bless little Francis, I love how they honor his memory with the stuffed animals and the talking apron
You guys are just the best! Saving the planet and living a healthier lifestyle than most. Does it feel good? Your heightened sense of self importance? Do you now enjoy the smell of your own farts?
@@stevecvntnikoslawyer4181 dude can you not act like an angry child? Someone's diet doesn't automatically make them as pompous as you seem to think vegans are.
It's nice they also specified what to do with the remaining flour and panko, because I've always wondered that (I don't cook) and most people don't really mention it..
One thing i like to do with the extra breadcrumbs and eggs is jut mix them together (depending on how much extra you have) with some salt and pepper into a semi consistent paste and fry that too. it makes for a nice toasty snack to eat while finishing making the meal. I also use a smaller dish for the breading, so i don't have that much extra breadcrumbs, so experiment with the ammount of breadcrumbs you add to the remaining egg.
I have been following since 2007, before I went to Japan and spent 11 years before a family member's health circumstances brought me back to Canada. Watching your videos brings me back to my real home in my heart - Japan, even if I can't physically be there now. I used to looooove the kani cream kurokke bentous at my local bentouyasan. 300 yen bought two of them, lots of rice with black goma and an umeboshi, wakame and other seaweeds salad. Soooooo gooood. Thanks for teaching how to make this!
I think the first video I saw was the first korokke recipe Chef made way back then, Francis was still around. Many years later, I'm still watching! 💗💗💗 I ended up making that recipe for a family gathering, it was well received. Thanks, Chef!
I've been subscribed this channel since 2010 and until now, this is still one of my favorite cooking channel on RU-vid. I hope you are doing well and healthy, Chef! ❤️
I grew up with this channel! Back in 2011-2012 (when I was in early elementary school) I would make my mom do these recipes with me and we created amazing memories I will never forget. So glad to see this channel again and how they honor Francis. Crazy to think Francis and I were born only a few days apart! Sending Love ♥️
FINALLY! A little paradise in a very, very unsure world! I go back in time watching you, Chef. To a much less scary world. Honestly your channel is like a port in a storm. I just disappear into Chef cooking and Francis' voice. It's wonderful here. TY Chef! We love you now more than ever! Jenn in Canada 🇨🇦 👋
This is one of the most genuine channels :) i agree with all the comments where i cant even fathom unsubbing, cooking with dog is not just a phase, it’s LIFE
I only found this channel yesterday, on the melonpan video, and loved it. This is the second video I am watching and I am heartbroken to know Francis went to heaven. I only knew him for one video but I loved him already. God bless and same as everyone else, I love that the stuffed animals are there to honor his memory. Hugs to you all.
In college, I would go to this Japanese supermarket and buy frozen crab corn korokke and I still dream of them. The sweetness of the corn and crab, the creaminess, the crunchy outer shell... I can’t find them here where I live now so maybe I’ll try making them myself one day.
Like everyone, I miss Francis very much, and never unsub because I love Chef's recipes. Solid recipes. Very well made cooking videos. Detailed instructions and easy to follow. Please keep posting ! ! !

Whenever we deep-fry something coated in egg and breadcrumbs, we mix what is left of the two and make croquettes with that as well. They taste so nice! Thank you for another amazing video!
Please continue to make videos! Seeing the notification of a new recipe makes me so so happy. Even if francis isnt here anymore, the show is still so enjoyable to watch!

OMG. Using a spatula instead of your hands so that your fingers don't change the shape -- what a life changing new technique! Thank you for sharing the delicious recipe! Crab makes me feel fancy. I miss kani-cream-korokke in Japan :(

This recipe came at the perfect time as we had some crab meat that needed to be used. We made it for dinner tonight and they were delicious - thankyou :) :)
Oh that's very similar of how I make crab croquettes and I just substitute crab for ham in a tradicional spanish ham croquette recipe . Nice recipe chef.
