Hi Gary Butler, you've been a guide to eating authentic Thai desserts and I hope you'll like other dishes of our country. The price is not too expensive. He arranges the food beautifully. May you be full and delicious with every meal Thank you for liking Thai food and Thai people are always friendly to visitors in Thailand. Thank you very much.👌👌👌👌✌
Shout out to Gary for shouting out OTR. I follow OTR too. Just shows Gary's character, he is is really's serious about this stuff and will even give you some shine if the quality of your content is high.
Good one, Gary. Dan fills his plate the same way I did when I was there, not knowing what I was doing, but how I wanted to enjoy the meal (with extra heat from the condiments on the table). That crab is the largest and clearly the freshest I've ever seen, and while I'm not often a fan of crab, I would dig right into that. If and when I finally get back there, I want to put this spot on my special list. Also, that cartilage you mentioned is found in squid/cuttlefish and other seafood....glad they took it out for you guys. I just found my pictures and some of the negatives from the place we all ate at down on the Chao Phraya in '69 and I'm going to see if I can get them digitized and share them.
@@theroamingcook Soon as I can get them digitized. Otherwise I'll try doing the photos on the copier, but some of the detail will be lost. I'm hoping some of the negs have pictures of the boats and the people (and myself) on the river. You'll be the first to see them when I get it done.
Prik Pao or Prik Khua Nam Mun (พริกคั่วน้ำมัน) is my favorite condiment. The spice is milder but lingering much longer . Anyway you're so Thai that you can't live without Prik Nam Pla or spicy condiments hahaha.
Hiya Gary. Went away, so I am a little behind. You are forever making me feel hungry. Love your channel. And your love for tasty food. Are you still thinking of doing cooking videos?. I would love to learn how to cook more dishes. The food looks fantastic. Those noodles made me think of this year's Masterchef winner. Chariya Khattiyot. She is a beautiful lady. I love her love for food. Sharing love on a plate. Originally From Thailand. Wrong time to watch. Hungry now. Lol. Great to see, Dan. He knows his food. Great video. I hope you and your lovely family are keeping well. Happy Thursday. Liked and Shared, as always. I will catch up by the weekend.
@@brucewayne2773 Hi Bruce, I am really sad that I couldn't manage to get the video out. There are few in the line for the channel but I stuck with the main work. However, I am working hard to manage time to edit and work for my wife for our online clothing shop. Thank you for thinking of me krub. ^_^
@@dannbangkok We all have to set priorities in life. I completely understand your situation. I just wanted to let you know that I miss your videos. Looking forward to watching them when it's good and ready. In the mean time stay healthy and be happy😃
I'm going with a friend in 2 weeks he loves mild yellow chicken curry. We are staying in Alley 10 off Sukhumvit near Korea Town. Any recommendations for good yellow chicken curry on that side of the river???
Did you say you had tried the prawn ball in Siracha? We'll be there in a fortnight. If this is the case, do know where in Siracha? In your video, they looked 'unbelievable'! Thanks Waz
Yes mate here Mum Aroi Sriracha +66 81 110 7654 Not the cheapest restaurant I’ve been to but lovely view and solid seafood. The khanom jeen buffet I did in one of my other vids is a must! I didn’t do it justice. Been back twice since and it’s so good
