@@MeiLiansKitchen Hello... It Came out Great. My Hubby Loved it. Thanks so much. Here is the Video I done on them. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NR04mMBvBVI.html
Yes! You can use egg roll wrappers. I would recommend cutting the wrappers to make them smaller. If the wrapper is too big and there is too much cheese in the wonton the cheese may not heat up all the way without burning first. Hope this helps 😁
I will be making an updated version of this recipe in the future and will include the wrapper in it during then! I can't find a link for the wrapper I used.
Looks really good!!! Can you let me in on the secret, because my wontons keep popping open and oozing when I make them 😩 not from where they are closed, because I am using egg wash to seal them, but they are popping open where the filling is, if that makes sense lol. The ones you used look really thick, are they egg roll wrappers instead? Should I try that? Thank you!!
Hello Jannah! Thanks for checking out this recipe! So the wrapper used in this video is actually wonton wrappers from a local company and I don't believe they ship either as I couldn't find any information on shipping. Egg Roll wrappers could work, but they wouldn't give the same consistency. I would recommend trying to shop around at some local asian markets for thicker wonton wrappers since it sounds to me like the wrapper is too thin! Good luck on your next batch!
Thanks for checking out this recipe! I believe the edges are burning because the heat is too high while frying. Try using a slightly lower temperature when deep frying and it should come out just right!
Thanks for checking out this recipe! So unfortunately this brand of wrap is made locally and they don't ship out of state. You can use any wonton wraps that you can find.
Thanks for checking out this recipe and that's a great question! So wonton and egg roll wraps are both different. You could use egg roll wraps for this recipe as well, but make sure it is actually egg roll and not spring roll wrap. The spring roll wraps are too thin and won't be quite the same!
Thanks for checking out this recipe! The wonton wrappers I used in this video is actually from a local vendor. You can find wrappers at your local Chinese market and use any wonton wrappers with this recipe.
Most Asian markets have them. The wrappers I used are from a local noodle company, but I got them at an Asian market. They are usually in the refrigerated section near produce or fresh noodles, but some stores keep them frozen. Some bigger grocery stores have them too in the refrigerated section near tofu! Let me know how this recipe turns out if you try it! 😁
Hello Loan Hoang and thank you for checking out this video! SO I actually do have a separate video for sauces. I'll link the video in the description box and you can find the one I use in this on there. It's called sweet and sour sauce!
Great question! I used vegetable oil in this video to fry, but you can use any oil with a high smoke point such as avocado oil, peanut oil, canola oil, etc.
