I grew up in Chesapeake Virginia. We lived on a 2 acre lot on the Elizabeth River and I grew up crabbing in our cove of out in the John Boat. Me and my sister filled the entire boat full of crabs and my granny made us put them back. We were at the railroad trusses scooping then right out of the water with a dip net. I have only seen it once in my life but it was amazing.

GREAT JOB CAPPY! My Babe and I go crabbin when ever it's to rough to fish the surf or as lately, there are just too damn many people on the beach to fish. Always end up with at least a pound of fresh Blue Crab meat. Depending on where we go, we either toss a line as you did, or we drop 8 inch wire mesh baskets with fish carcasses tied to the bottom, (GREAT for off docks, piers or bridges). LOVE THEM BLUE CRABS! But I keep all I catch, the meat freezes well, & Black Drum, Reds, and Bonnet Heads LOVE em'. Keep the GREAT content coming.

As a pool guy, i would be there with my pole and pool net. Those crabs wouldn't stand a chance, lol. Great Florida fun. If you ever want to come to Homosassa and shoot some videos with some boys that can fish, holla! We would have a blast!

I was down in hommassas springs on the west coast and had the chance to cook some of those crabs from a crabber down there and it was some of the finest seafood that I've had the chance to cook and eat. Thank you for the memories

Missed this one, I love shore crabbing! Have you ever seen the crab traps that can be thrown by hand? I prefer the book style. They are used on the west coast. I’ve never seen one used on a video on the east coast for blue crabs. They can be thrown by hand or fishing pole. A fishing pole just gets it further out if needed. Keep up the great shows, buddy!

I live in texas and the legal size blue crab fir us is 5" i feel like thats a good thing to have a minimum size but also theres no bag limit for them here in texas as well

Where is that? I used to have five traps up by Seabreeze bridge but got to where I could only catch 4 or 5 after two days. Wasn't worth the effort.

Don’t crabs die if put in bucket of water without air circulation I noticed one was belly up in the bucket I’m not saying that to be a jerk but rather to inform people who don’t know cause most people assume crabs will be fine in water cause they live in the water

I love crabbing just can't get any anymore or at least any good size ones. They blue crab is getting wiped out by the commercial industry, traps everywhere. All these Yankees moving down here, can't swing a dead cat without hitting one.
