@@GotoHere "State trust land" - How about we cover what that means in Arizona, shall we? You must obtain a permit from the Arizona State Land Department (ASLD) to be on State Trust lands. Pretty simple process, I think, but you know if you want to justify trespassing just because you must have a permit, sure, you do you man.

So, if they call it "Trust Land" then only the chosen few that the State picks are allowed to use it, even though tax money was used to purchase and maintain the land. Another case of rules for you different than rules for me.

This is going on everywhere, blm , usfs, in all states. People's camping practices are generally bad. I live near public land. Toilet paper , feces , trash, dumb shooting practices, drug activity, new fire rings next to 4 others, constant expansion of affected ground and the latest,a big multi pet memorial with lots of non biodegradable items. Leave no trace is an unknown concept to most of today's camping crowd and many are full time.

Even if you have a permit and you have a reason to be on the land yavapai county sheriff's will not protect you and will not defend you about citizens harassing you or making your life miserable by living in camper.......

@@scottleggejr And I didn't use taxpayer funds to acquire and maintain it, either. The only reason a government agency should own any open land like that is for public use. Public use should not require an entrance fee. That would be like making you pay to enter the DMV in order to pay for your license plate, pay to enter the court house to pay your taxes, or pay to enter the court house because you're required to be on a jury, and many more examples. I'm also against paying sales tax when you buy the vehicle AND pay property taxes for owning it, AND paying annual fees to drive it on public roads that already use my tax dollars to maintain. In my state, they make you pay sales tax on any car rebates the manufacture gives you. That is money you pay to get the car and then they refund it to you. But you never really pay it to them, you only have to pay the reduced amount.

Different outcome if they could respect it. They put it upon themselves. If they kept the area clean the way the found it I'm sure the law would have been more lienate with them. Y’all drive y’all vehicles on my land that I charged no one for to live on by the way, to kick people off of it who’s just simply trying to live. None of you are doing anything with the land so why is it an issuer for people to live on it? The government that tougher these people will suffer the same fate very soon. Their employees will all be out of a job and the government will no longer be a power on my earth.
